Raja Dhaba — Restaurant in Punjab

We stopped by at Raja Dhaba for lunch. The food (makki di roti, sarson ka saag, black dal, lachcha paratha, white butter et al) was too delicious for words. The restaurant is spacious and clean. Good facilities as well. authentic N Indian cuisine. The parathas are awesome. The popularity of this Dhaba is evident from the fact that even on a weekday it was crowded. A favourite halt for travellers on the Chandigarh - Ludhiana state highway, near Sanghol and for the numerous neighbouring villages. The staff is efficient and friendly. Ample parking One of the best dhaba on the highway from chandigarh to ludhiana and it is worth stopping and most importantly one of the best tea is served here, clean washroom tasty food! Decent food

We ordered both Chinese and Indian food

The Paneer (cottage cheese) seemed like it was synthetic (fake) The texture of noodles not that great and the cook however and the flavor was still okay

The Tikki was actually very good The regular Indian dishes were quite acceptable

Gulab Jamun at the end was decent enough, also

I would go back only for the Indian fast food like Tikki, Gol Gappe, Dahi Bhalle and all But that is about all I would eat there

I am giving two stars because last evening I hv ordered two plates spring rolls, nd one plate noodles, noodles quantity ok with the price but incase of spring roll it's totally a cheating as a plate cost ₹170 ( two plates ₹340) nd I was shocked to see the plate having only seven small pieces of rolls. There were total of 14-15 pieces of rolls for ₹340 that's totally disgusting. ₹ 60-80 was more than enough for such quantity. I also like to mention that...
