The Brew Estate Pathankot — Restaurant in Punjab

This is one of the restaurants out of the wide brew estate chain. Location is great. Just on the highway. They have two floors , the second floor and rooftop. They haven't started brewing yet so don't expect anything great. Food preparation was also good. Chef is doing a good job. Now coming to the worst part which should be their strength. They had only two types of beer available. Whole evening they couldn't serve us cold beers. Repeated requests to give a ice bucket was like ignored throughout. Their manager and serving staff have a strange way of judging customers ie whom to serve a cold beer and to whom not which speaks of their unprofessionalism. If someone is spending 4-5k visiting a pub and restaurant, they expect a great service which is totally lacking. Their staff is least interested what is going on with the tv. TV went into stand by mode and none of the staff noticed. I dnt know what manager was doing besides roaming around by putting his hands in the pocket. I yesterday visited “The Brew Estate” at Downtown 44, with a friend, and while the ambiance and service were decent, our overall experience was marred by an unexpected and rather disappointing incident. We had a bill amounting to approximately 7000 rupees, which is a significant amount. Given this, we thought it wouldn't be too much to ask for a small bowl of peanuts to accompany our drinks.

However, to our surprise, the staff flatly denied our request, citing some policy. This rigid adherence to an unfriendly policy, especially after we spent a handsome amount, was quite frustrating and left a bad taste in our mouths.

A bit of flexibility and customer appreciation would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience. Unfortunately, due to this incident, we left feeling undervalued as customers. I hope the management reconsiders such policies in the future to ensure better customer...
