We came down specially from Bhubaneswar to try the breakfast here because we'd heard so much about it from several people, so it was a little disheartening to find that the breakfasts were very much overhyped.

We ordered a Cheese Breakfast and a Pancake Breakfast. Both came with coffee, which was served cold. Inspite of asking for it to be reheated it was still tepid/lukewarm at best.

The cheese breakfast came with 2 slices of toast with some suspiciously brown coloured cheese which was unlike any cheese I have ever had in my life..

And the pancake breakfast had only 1 (albeit delicious & fluffy) pancake, which was also shocking.. at the very least, one would expect 2 pancakes?!

We also had 2 sausages + serving of eggs cooked to our liking with each breakfast option.

For 300 bucks for this breakfast, the quantity was dismal. By comparison, other joints like Kruti Coffee in Bhubaneswar will give you a far more filling breakfast with better quality. And a typical English breakfast contains some veggies/ grilled tomatoes/hash browns/baked potatoes... This was certainly not that.

The ambience was nice, simple and cosy and we liked the concept of a house cafe.. however, service left much to be desired. There was no greeting, no attempt at conversation, asking for any review - nothing. Also if you sit upstairs, it is not so easy to find a server to speak to in between meal delivery..but this was not a deal breaker.

I can't speak about the other food at Honey Bee.. The reviews and photos on Google certainly look nice, but the breakfast was definitely a let down if you know what the standard of a good continental breakfast is. In my humble opinion, this was not worth the price...
