Shifting my ratings from 5 star to 2 star.
I recently had my worst experience at House Of Arches. Honestly i have been here 4-5 times before, hosted a dinner for about 40-50 people. Every time they have served properly, with amazing taste, great atmosphere like everything was 10.
But recently that changed.. visited here on Saturday date 30/8/25 with 3 of my friends. As it was a weekend, tables were booked and we were asked to wait for 15-20 mins. We accepted that because anywhere on a saturday evening we will get the same waiting time and because of my great past experience we didn’t want to go anywhere else.
So we got our table in 15-20 mins as promised… and we decided our food and placed order for our starters and main course together. In next 20-25 mins our starters arrived, what shocked me was when our starter arrived the took them to their stand, where they check the order and serves them… this took them next 5-8 mins.. Honestly out of 3 starters only 1 was hot and good and the other two were below average.
We were a hell lot hungry, we finished our starters and were waiting for our main course, and this took them another 20+ mins… and we were sitting on our table wondering, that when our food is going to come… the time taken from taking the order and delivering the main vourse was almost 50-60 mins, and that was very disappointing. Staffs were so busy, they even forgot to provide vinegar onions, even after asking them twice.
When our main course arrived, we felt that we may need one more sabzi for which we asked the staff that what can be prepared very quickly and delivered within 10 mins.. we agreed on Paneer Butter Masala, and that took another 20+ mins and yet not served.
We were then out of patience as it was raining and the three of my friends have to leave for Jaisalmer, and then we left asking them to cancel the sabzi and at the counter we got to know that the sabzi is ready from last 5 mins, but the forgot to convey or transferring that important information to the waiter. Also for theast sabzi ordered, we had asked the staff twice, to check and bring it quickly but as usual, “let me check sir” was their response. Even on taking our table we asked the staff to turn the cooler a little bit, so that our table also could get good air but they also failed in doing that.
House Of Arches is a nice place to Dine In, have a good time with good food but you cannot serve properly, keep your guests waiting.. then they will not have a good time. I understand very clearly that it was a Saturday evening there was rush and what not, but we were at your table capacity, you didn’t put any extra table for me specially. Also, if you are understaffed then ask your guests that the orders could get delayed or service could be slow.
And now i always have to think to prefer House Of Arches to be one of my priority or not, and they are not on the list.
One bad experience and its like there was no...

House of Archies seems to be aiming for a broad appeal, and based on my experience, they're doing a decent job. It's not easily pigeonholed as solely a romantic, family, or group hotel, but rather a blend of all three with a focus on providing a pleasant and visually appealing experience.
Atmosphere: The standout feature is undoubtedly the architecture and ambiance. The "very nice" building, coupled with the "huge garden," "massive sitting ground floor," and "superb ambience" on both floors, paints a picture of a space designed for relaxation and enjoyment. This alone makes it a strong contender for a memorable stay or visit. The beautiful setting makes it suitable for romantic getaways, family outings, or even larger group gatherings.
Food: The food seems to be a bit of a mixed bag. While the veg soup was merely "ok-ok," the rest of the meal appears to have been a resounding success. Dishes like "Korean paneer," "ravioli pasta," and "tacos" being "done and dusted" suggests high-quality preparation and delicious flavors. The "huge varieties in food from soup to dessert" further emphasizes the commitment to catering to diverse palates. This makes it a good choice for families or groups with varying tastes.
Service: The "cool, calm, and responsive" staff is a major plus. Good service can elevate any experience, and it's reassuring to see that House of Archies prioritizes customer satisfaction. This is particularly important for families or groups who might require more assistance and attention.
Overall: House of Archies seems to be a well-designed and versatile establishment with a focus on creating a pleasant atmosphere. While the soup might need some work, the rest of the menu appears promising. The excellent service and beautiful setting make it a worthwhile stop, especially for those traveling through or visiting Jodhpur.
Recommendations:
Highly recommended for its ambiance and variety of food options.
Suitable for: Couples, families, and groups alike.
Consider: If you're a soup connoisseur, maybe try a different appetizer.
Verdict: A great place to stop and enjoy a meal or a longer stay if you're looking for a visually appealing and comfortable experience. Definitely worth considering when in or traveling...

Our recent visit to the restaurant left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we encountered a seating issue. Despite the unfavorable weather, there wasn’t enough indoor space to accommodate us, and most of the available seating was on the open rooftop. This was disappointing, as many guests were forced to wait unnecessarily due to the limited indoor seating options.
Food Quality: The food was quite underwhelming. The Vietnamese Rolls were neither fresh nor properly cooked, with minimal stuffing and a half-done texture. The Paneer Tikka was overly spicy, despite specifically requesting a medium spice level, making it taste more like the standard spicy version.
The mocktails were average at best, lacking any standout flavors.
The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was another disappointment. The portion size felt inadequate for the price, and the vegetables weren’t fresh. The spaghetti itself was half-cooked and lacked the softness and quality one would expect from a well-prepared pasta dish.
Ambience and Atmosphere: The ambience was mediocre, with the indoor seating area being noisy and echo-prone due to the crowd. It was difficult to hold a comfortable conversation, and the seating arrangement felt awkward and poorly organized.
Service: The service was rushed and impersonal. Although we still had food left on the table and were about to finish, a staff member came over, unprompted, and asked if we were ready for the check. This behavior made us feel rushed and uncomfortable, as though the priority was to free up the table for waiting guests rather than allowing us to enjoy our meal at our own pace. It felt unwelcoming and created a negative impression.
Positives: The parking attendant was very helpful, which was one of the few positive aspects of the experience. Additionally, the menu includes Continental and Mediterranean dishes, which is rare in Jodhpur. Unfortunately, the execution of these dishes did not live up to expectations.
Conclusion: In conclusion, the overall experience was disappointing, and we left feeling dissatisfied. The rushed service, lackluster food, and subpar atmosphere make it hard to recommend, especially for those seeking authentic Mediterranean or Continental cuisine. We do not plan on returning...
