Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had the pleasure of dining at Jodhpur Restaurant yesterday and I have to say, it was an absolute delight! The highlight of my visit was definitely the Dal Bati, which was just awesome. The flavors were spot on and the batis cooked perfectly.
I went with a group of six, and based on the recommendation I received, we ordered only three plates of dal bati. It was a wise decision because one plate was indeed quite full, even for someone like me who can eat a lot! So, if you are a group of six, I suggest ordering three plates; It will be more than enough.
Apart from dal bati, we also tried their tikkad with garlic ki sabzi, makke di roti gutte ki sabzi, and cheese masala khechiyan as starters. I’ll tell you, every meal was a delight to our taste buds. The tikkad with lasun ki sabzi was perfectly spiced, the makke di roti had the flavor of the gutte ki sabzi and the cheese masala khechian was a unique and delicious dish
The whole experience at Jodhpur Bhojnalay was amazing. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed and the staff friendly and attentive. Their treatment was complimentary and they made sure we had a memorable dining experience.
If you are a dalbati lover like me, I highly recommend you to visit Jodhpur Bhojnalay. Just remember, if you’re with your family or friends, don’t order dal bati for anyone immediately. Instead, follow service recommendations based on demographics. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
Can’t wait to come back and explore more of their delicious offerings. Keep up the excellent work, Jodhpur...
Read moreRated No.1 restaurant in Mount Abu (by TripAdvisor), this is a very modest and unassuming outlet on the main market road. They have 2 outlets adjacent to each other, both managed by the same family.
Try their local delicacies like 'Tikkad with Lasooni Sabzi' and 'Tikkad with Khichya Sabzi'. Tikkad is a fat roti and acts as a pizza base with the Sabzi spread over it like toppings. Between the two is a generous dose of desi ghee (watch video to see how they prepare on your table). They charge Rs 25 for the ghee which is still cheap as compared to having Butter Rotis. The Lasooni Sabzi Tikkad combo has won the title of Anti-Covid pizza for its medicinal properties.
The Biryani was tasty but a bit oily. The Rabdi was not up to mark and certainly not upto Mount Abu standards. For good Rabdi, visit 'Purohit' in main market, next to Grand Arbuda restaurant.
The ambience has nothing special. Service is quick. An average meal for 2 will cost around Rs 600.

Place is situated at main road walking distance from nakki lake and bus stop. Not much fancy place but can be crowded during weekends.
Masala khichiya papad - little bit expensive but taste was nice and crispy and it was the only item which we liked most.
DaalBati - oh man, you give only 3 bati and limited daal at this price point? Most of the people would be disappointed by it. Taste is good though but not the best.
Gatte di sabji with makke ki roti - hot makke ki roti was nice in taste and it balanced the lack of taste in sabji.
Tikkad with lehsun sabji - it is usually served as sabji spread over tikkad (thich wheat roti) in a pizza style. We did not like the taste, frankly speaking.
Thanks...
