Read moreOur experience at Koi Cafe was less than exciting. The restaurant ambience is really nice but that's about it. We ordered a few dishes and most were not up to the mark.
Tandoori Aloo - It took around 30 minutes to come and had Malai Kofta gravy coated on it. Seriously?
Corn on the Cob - This was actually the Crispy Corn and was the best dish of the meal for us. We all loved it.
French Fries - The classic French fries, no complaints.
Soups - We ordered Hot and Sour Manchow and Minestrone soups. The waiter served Hot and Sour soup instead of Manchow, but called it Manchow, leaving us confused. He also served Mushroom soup instead of Minestrone but rectified it later. However this is not what you expect, so many goof ups.
Bhaji with Pav - We were surprised that the Bhaji had babycorn and similar veggies in it in boiled form but the taste was okay.
Hummus with Pita - The worst hummus I've ever had. It was runny, with extra lemon making it sour and too much garlic. Even after requesting them, they said this is how it is served here. I've had bad hummus but not as bad as this, really shocking.
However the service times were quick and waiter was courteous, though I reduced one star for his mix ups.
Overall some items were fine/okay but we'll not go again to...

If you are a lazy reader, the ambience is nice and the food is trash.
Detailed review below- Lets talk about good first, the nature of the staff was good and the ambience was really good.
Now for the bad, be ready 🤭 We ordered Red Macaroni pasta, it tasted bit too sour, maybe it was prepared with some fresh and old sauce mixed. Also we ordered Neapolitan Margarita Pizza, but it was no way near as the authentic Neapolitan Pizza as the authentic one uses sour dough, Mariana tomato sauce with a few pieces buffalo cheese and sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top. Also the authentic one is cooked in Wood Fire oven for that chard effect and quick cook for that spongy outer crust. This was baked in a normal oven with normal pizza dough and a lot of cheeze, my friend asked "yeh kya cheeseburst hai?" The cheese that was topped was also a little bitter as I tasted it separately, the bitter taste was covered with the sause that was...
