MEWAR FOODIES | BEST PLACE TO EAT IN UDAIPUR | INDIA'S SUPER HEALTHY ECO CONSCIOUS RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Rajasthan

Food at this place single handedly destroyed 2 days of my stay in Udaipur. Almost a case of food poisoning for me. We were very hungry and visiting Sajjangarh fort so this place is right next to the ticket counter so we got into it. On a hot day this place had no electricity and no back up to turn on the fans and provide some relief to the customers. Then the food quality so terrible that within few minutes it felt like I am going to throw up. The photos I hav uploaded may look good but the taste and quality was pathetic. Had severe acidity just 30 mins after eating here and a day full of uneasiness. Eventually had to vomit it out and took me another day to recover. Even my wife faced similar issues after eating here. Just the tea in our breakfast was good.

Running a business and can't take criticism. Not even reading many other comments calling this place unhygienic. Rather than checking on the quality of food (atleast on that day when you got a bad review) you go on talking about nonsense stuff without knowing details. Food at your place was the first thing I had in my day before going to sajjangarh fort, so saying my choice to visit a beautiful fort even on hot day was bad, is very wrong. Only wrong decision I took was to start my day with your restaurant and the issues started right after eating before even before starting the ride to top. Yes, a ride, not like I was gonna walk my way up. Not having a simple thing like electricity back up shows the dedication to keep a customer relaxed or showing warmth. Worst day of my life when I visited there.

We actually waited for 1 hour for food and after half and hour one of their servant said - Nhi Hogi Sir Daal Bati.

And then we have given some other order, again after half and hour he said it will take some more time, and then this continues.

The service is 0, and due to their service, their food quality is very very bad. Rice was uncooked, they have given us some really bad dirty utensils/plates (See Pictures).

I have seen many people coming and going because no one is taking orders from them.

Varieties of food items are good but service time is not thta good. As it's very near to sajjangarh fort and biological park you might go to this place but not recommended. The quality of food is not that good as compared to the price. In hot season these types of half open restuarant is not preferable for lunch. Only One cooler is there apart from ceiling fans, which is not sufficient for so many persons sitting in the restaurant. In Cheese paratha they served us paneer paratha. Ambience is cool but suitable for dinner. Bamboo and plants are also good for decoration. Even they have village type theme with manual well to get the wtaer out, which gives different image...
