Pathak’s SWEETS | VEGETABLE | THALI | BEST FAMILY RESTAURANT IN KOTA | BEST CATERERS — Restaurant in Rajasthan

I have a very detailed review for Pathak Restaurant, if you are not willing to read it completely I'll put some highlights: Highlights :- 1.) Good Service 2.) Quality of ingredients used in food is "Good" 3.) Food taste: "Overrated" (Waste of Money) 4.) Prices: "Higher" than usual 5.) Overall: Overrated (I won't suggest this restaurant)

Details:- I have ordered food from restaurant, but before ordering in bulk we ordered a "Rajasthani Thali" to taste. And to my surprise, the food taste was very average. In Rajasthani Thali, Gatte ki Sabji was so bad that gatte soaked all the Tari and only sukha gatta was left. Now how could someone eat sabji like that. Dal was also very bad( Masoor Dal was used instead of Tuvar), Baafle were good(Ghee/Butter used was of good quality, no issue there). Kath was also not good, it was very different from the conventional Kath (the conventional Kath is made from besan, suji, moong Ka aata, dry fruits etc.) But the one we got from this restaurant mainly has suji and moong Ka aata and negligible amount of dry fruits. Coming to Pulao, the worst Pulao that I ever had in any Rajasthani Thai, generally Pulao had anaar, angoor, dry fruits, and basmati rice but they served us simple matar jeera rice that too "Kani" not even Rice, so on Pulao part it was very bad. Next is Fruit Cream, now if you ever eat this from any place it will taste creamy with fruits, but the one they served was simply curd with sugar and fruits(good amount and variety of fruits were there, that was good) but the cream part was simply curd with sugar so overall it was bad. Next was lehsun pyaaz ki chutney, it was good( this was the only item that was upto the expectations, the taste was good as it was spicy and cooked properly).

So overall the experience was bad in terms of taste of food and money it cost us. I wouldn't recommend...

I used to. And still like the fact that it is one of the good standardized shops to pick and get food packed go home and end your day well when u dont wanna cook , but lately i have noticed them degrading there quality of vegetables the standard has gone down mix veg doesnt taste the same matar paneer is full of undone mattar And it was never a great place to dine in specially the cad chauraha one as irs so conjusted and the attitude of the stsff is so rigid and unwelcoming The owner claims that chawani and cad chauraha are the same pathak but is not even able to understand the simple fact thst when u have the same brand name there is something called standardization in taste which is drastically different across the 2 outlets so they shoukd probably rebrand it as a different pathak if the cant maintain the same tastes across outlets ahd have to degrade their taste over time not...

The WORST restaurant in Kota. Very rude service I have ever seen. They make u pay first at the counter then wait 15 min for the waiter to attend, just to collect coupons. Finally food will be served after 30 mins. The quality of food is 100% unhygienic. If u see their kitchen, my god. Unfortunately there is no other restaurant for family to sit and eat so PATHAK SWEET AND FARSHAN is taking full advantage. I wish to give -10. I have paid and left all the dishes without eating. Example. Dish Green Salad, They give 50% portion of onion, 15 % of green chillies and rest is tomato and cacumber in a dish of green salad. Hope u will understand. I also request youtubers not to promote this place just for the sake of ur promotion for free lunch. Please all avoid this place. I left all the food so I am well...
