Foodiesthan by Prem Sagar, located on the Nathdwara-Udaipur Highway, is a delightful stop for travelers and food enthusiasts alike. This vibrant dhaba-style restaurant offers a warm, welcoming ambiance with a touch of traditional Rajasthani charm, making it an ideal spot for families, friends, or anyone passing through the scenic route. The menu is impressively diverse, featuring authentic Rajasthani and North Indian vegetarian dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. Standout dishes include the Paneer Toofani, bursting with bold flavors, and the Garlic Cheese Naan, which is a perfect blend of cheesy goodness and aromatic garlic. The Hara Bhara Kabab as a starter is a must-try, offering a fresh and flavorful kick to start your meal. Their Rajasthani Thali is another highlight, showcasing a wholesome mix of local delicacies like dal baati churma and gatte ki sabzi, served with generous portions and authentic spices. For those looking for lighter fare, the Butter Milk is refreshing and pairs wonderfully with the hearty mains. The service at Foodiesthan is commendable, with attentive and polite staff who ensure quick service, even during busy hours. The food is prepared with care, maintaining high hygiene standards, which is evident in the fresh and well-presented dishes. The pricing is reasonable, offering great value for money, especially given the quality and quantity of the food. A meal for two typically costs around INR 600-800, making it budget-friendly for a satisfying dining experience. The restaurant’s location on the highway, near a small pond and close to attractions like Eklingji Temple, adds to its appeal as a convenient stopover. The decor is simple yet vibrant, with traditional “khat” seating options that enhance the rustic dhaba vibe. However, some visitors have noted occasional inconsistencies in taste, with a few dishes like dal or rotis falling short of expectations for some. Despite this, the overall experience remains positive, with the majority of reviews praising the delicious food and friendly hospitality. Overall, Foodiesthan by Prem Sagar is a gem on the Nathdwara-Udaipur Highway, offering tasty, authentic vegetarian cuisine with excellent service and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, this restaurant is worth a visit for a memorable meal. Highly recommended for those craving a true Rajasthani dining experience.

After an adventurous trek, our group, Bindaas from the Bindaas Foundation, enjoyed a truly delightful lunch at this amazing restaurant. We had traditional Dal Baati Churma, which was absolutely delicious—we loved every bite. The staff were attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the ambiance was top-notch. The management deserves special praise for their excellent service. With over 30 explorers in our group, everyone left impressed and satisfied. Highly recommend this place for group lunches and family gatherings—it’s undoubtedly the best in town! We’ll definitely be back.

We originally had wanted to visit Prem Sagar but after hearing they were super packed, they told us about their new location called The Foodiestan which specializes in Indo-Chinese food. Parking was plentiful. We were blown away by the quality and taste of the food, the attentive and polite service, and the affordability of the food. It was also clean and comfortable as well with ceiling fans above every table. We ordered mushroom tikka, rajasthani khichdi, veg kolapuri, paneer butter masala, garlic cheese naan, lasooni paneer tikka, moong daal halwa, gulab jamun. Highly recommend!

We especially loved the [mention a few standout dishes – e.g., “paneer tikka, masala dosa, and”], which were bursting with authentic flavors. Even the simplest items like their jeera rice and dal had a comforting, homemade taste.
