Red Bamboo Shoot Restaurant Narendrapur — Restaurant in Rajpur Sonarpur

One of the most unprofessional restaurants I've been till date. We went there at 9.45pm, there was a family sitting, no waiter was around, after few minutes 2 waiters came by chewing food ( seemed like they where busy eating inside the kitchen without bothering about the guests). On seeing us they became very irritated, which clearly showed in their faces, like why have there people come now? We're already off duty ( mentally though ). They took our order lethargically after a lot of delay, we waited for the LOOOOOOONGEST time to get the food & when it was ready, guess what?? The waiter out of his vengeance didn't serve us the food rather started billing for the other family. The food & we kept waiting for a good 15-20 mins when FINALLY he served ONLY 1 ITEM OUT OF 2 to us & just left without serving the others. The food by then had already turned ice cold ( due to the intentional delay + AC ) & we had a bad stomach upset after consuming the same. This is a new Chinese restaurant in Narendrapur area. Red bamboo shoot is already a popular brand with their outlets all over the city. I decided to try out this place last week.

The interiors are well decorated and there is a seating capacity of around 30 people. I strated with Crispy Chilly Babycorn and Pan Fried Chicken Momos. The Babycorn was very crispy. The momos were well stuffed and were very juicy. The sauce deserves a special mention.

For the main course, I paired Mixed Meifoon with Devil's Chicken. The Meifoon was loaded with lots of veggies, egg, chicken and prawns. It went very well with the mild-spicy chicken side. I also tried the Chicken Green Thai Curry which was pretty decent.

Went for a quick lunch and relished on crispy chilli babycorn, pan fried chicken momos for starters. Absolutely loved the babycorns which were damn crispy and pan fried momos were damn delicious having the right amount of sauce.

Loved the thai green curry having the perfect blend of spices and very light in taste. The next on our list was my favorite mixed Meifoon with devil's chicken. The Meifoon was so soft and delicious, along with devil's chicken which was delectable with the perfect mixture of spices and chicken pieces were quite good. The portion of the food items were very good.
