Recently, I revisited this restaurant after a great experience during my previous visit. Unfortunately, this time was a complete disappointment, especially regarding the quality of their momos. We ordered two plates and were initially impressed by the generous size and quantity. However, the experience quickly turned unpleasant.
The first bite was shocking—the filling was overwhelmingly dominated by onions and large, unappetizing chunks of chicken instead of properly minced meat. Despite my disappointment, I chose not to create a scene and finished the meal, which turned out to be a grave mistake. Not long after, I began experiencing severe bloating, leaving me regretting my decision.
Having traveled extensively across India, I can confidently say this was one of the worst momo experiences I’ve ever had. I felt compelled to share this review to caution others and hopefully encourage the restaurant to improve their standards.
Please bring quality over quantity. Momo is a comforting food dont feed people this quality for the money they pay for. Its winters and market is full of greens and veggies please make use of it. Or get to your old momo rather stuffing it with chunks of...
Read moreI recently visited Cafe Momo in Sivasagar, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The menu offered a wide variety of momos, from classic chicken and veggie to more unique options like cheese and spinach. I opted for the steamed chicken momos, which were absolutely delicious! The momos were freshly prepared, juicy, and full of flavor. The portion size was generous, and the price was very reasonable.
The service was also top-notch - the staff were friendly, attentive, and prompt. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu and made recommendations.
Overall, I would highly recommend Cafe Momo in Sivasagar to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. Whether you're a momo lover or just looking for a new spot to try, Cafe Momo is definitely...
Read moreAm utterly disappointed just at the very first visit . After a tons of good reviews, took my mommy out for a lunch and was really dissatisfied with the food. Just can't figure out what people find so fascinating about it. Food was really very very pathetic.. we ordered chicken kurkure momos and could hardly find any chicken in it.
Then , the cheese gravy momos🤦🏻♂️..no cheese in it. Just maida /rice starch ( ভাতৰ মাৰ ) in it. HORRIBLE.
And then the Chicken Thupka . Too oily, an inch or two of oil was floating on the brim of the bowl. Yukk🤮
. Youngsters complain about its affordability, but let me make it clear , buy 250 gm of chicken, a packet of maida and prepare your own momos. You will definitely be happy. Else you can visit roadside stalls. They provide better food.
HAVE HAD ENOUGH.WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN. IT'S JUST TOO...
