And if you're craving chicken, brace yourself for an Rs. 589 charge for a basic dish that's neither special nor flavorful. Shockingly, they’ve managed to make the chicken just slightly pricier than the veg rice thali, adding insult to injury.

The Service: They certainly take their time—don’t expect to see your meal for at least an hour after ordering. Even with a half-empty restaurant, there’s no rush to serve. Your patience will be tested.

The Ambiance: They try to create an upscale vibe, but don’t be fooled. The interior is disappointing and lacks the cleanliness and charm you'd expect from a so-called "luxury" dhaba. Ironically, many roadside stalls in the area offer better hospitality, warmth, and service than this place.

Worst Restaurant

We had an absolutely terrible experience at Santa Banta Restaurant in Siliguri. What was supposed to be a nice meal turned into a complete disaster. From the moment We walked in, it was clear this place is just out to cheat customers.

First of all, the menu prices don’t match what they charge you... If you visit as a tourist & ask for their special dish they will suggest you a dish but the price won't be reflected on Menu card... That special dish will be placed in their menu card in between so that guests will consider the same price range...but when bill 💵 comes You will be charged 589/- Rs per piece of Fish (not a dish or plate)!!!

The food itself was bland, overpriced, and definitely not worth the money.

I don’t appreciate being treated like a walking wallet, and I certainly don’t want to support businesses that have zero regard for customer satisfaction. If you’re in Siliguri, I’d recommend avoiding this place entirely – there are much better options for food in the area that don’t try to rip you off. When the issue was raised they changed bill thrice... Bill's are posted... Dear Travellers please don't visit this place or If at You Visit please Be aware...
