Apna Dhaba — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I visited here in occasion of friend's Birthday. Manager here was very welcoming and friendly. We bought cake from other shop because Apna Dhaba dont have any Bakery. We ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, Butter Chicken,Butter Naan,Chicken Lolipop,Chicken Manchurian,Panner chilli and Beverages. Service took a time maybe because of bulk order. Ambience and Cleanliness were awesome. They have lot of combos and items in thier menu. Coming to the food, Chicken Hyderabadi dum biryani was fine. Butter Chicken was pretty good in taste and chicken was well marinated. Chicken Lolipop was awesome. Chicken Manchurian was on the average side and best was Chilly Paneer. The ambience is okayish for its kind. Talking about the food, quality ranges from below-average to average. I had ordered Schezwan chicken, Paneer Chilly, butter chicken, Kadai Paneer, butter naan and lemon soda. The quantity of the starters they give serve is very less as compared to the price they charge. The main course quantity is good. The quality of gravy items is satisfactory. They serve in thin gravy. The food is good BUT the service is very poor. We were not given naan even after 30 minutes of order. Also there was no crowd which could have been the reason for same. We kept complaining but all the waiter said was "just 5 minutes more". Only after we complained the reception manager, the entire order was served in just 5 minutes. They give proirity to swiggy and zomato people who comes to collect order and completely forget about the persons dining in. We are hostelers and needed to be quick so that we don't miss our intime but they didn't care...
