Tara Maa Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went to Tara Maa expecting a decent meal, but what I got instead was a one-way ticket to absolute misery. The food tasted suspicious from the first bite — oily, stale, and with a strange smell that should have been my warning to stop. Unfortunately, I finished my plate, and that turned out to be the worst decision of my year.

Within hours, I was running to the bathroom like it was an Olympic sport. I ended up with such severe food poisoning that I couldn’t attend my classes for an entire week. The doctor straight-up told me to rest because my stomach was in terrible shape. Loose motions, weakness, and non-stop regret — all thanks to this “restaurant.”

The hygiene here is a joke. If the kitchen is even half as dirty as the taste of their food suggests, I’m surprised the place hasn’t been shut down. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy.

SERVICE: being a bengali restaurant, the staff was friendly towards me when i spoke in bengali, while ordering. that helped, as the restaurant is mostly packed, with no vacancy sometimes. that's both a good and a bad thing. good because that speaks volumes about its popularity among students and faculties alike. bad because sometimes service suffers, as it is definitely a huge task to cater to so many people in a given period of time. maybe if there was some expansion in terms of space and some additional members of the staff, it can overcome this. MENU: as for food, i mostly liked the dishes. some dishes have really less quantity, for example, mutton, despite them promoting the dish often. Avoid going here. Honestly dude, this place is just a mess. They serve Okish food with bad freaking service at a bad freaking seating arrangement in a not so good atmosphere. These guys can't handle crowds well. We went there and we were taking our time with the food having a lil chat laughing and stuff, after a while when we ordered some more food, the waiter just said that item is not available when it clearly was available and just got delivered to a table nearby. Come on man, I understand you are in your rush hour and all. But why would you want to run a food place if you can't give what the customer orders and if you cant manage the crowd at all. Also, the guys there were so rude. Don't go to this place. There are lots of better options just around this hotel. There's hell lotta...
