For the amazing real estate this place sits on they are on the vantage. Despite the fast paced outlook, be their grills and tandoors or the open kitchen, they are a big let down for the expectation.
Located right where the Vandalur bridge lands on GST towards Chengalpet side, this fancy big signage pops out and is first building in the locality to capitalise on the estate here. In a busy Vandalur junction, they sit on a quiet spot where there is ample space for parking on the lay by, and service lane. Ambiance is decent with a small AC dine in and predominantly bigger outdoor by the grill and kitchen. It does get a bit smokey outside at times. The AC dine in could seat a 30 diners max. With the entire ambiance screaming food, this is the perfect set up for a college bunch that's seeking an escape from mess food. Sadly my expectations with food were short lived. Maybe it's a wrong place for vegetarians, but overall the food was below average. To start off, it was a bummer to most of the other customers who didn't speak Hindi. Apparantly they do have a waiter or two who could speak Tamil. This is the only time me learning Hindi helped me, sadly a few waiters couldn't speak Hindi as well and that was when I thought we're screwed. So one person who was dressed to be a Chef went around taking orders, and, food started getting delayed. This was just their bad day, so quickly moving on to the food. We ordered a Paneer tikka, I sensed a really good tandoor with their flaunting of barbecues and grilled chicken, so we blindly went with the paneer tikka. It was pretty much tandoored like chicken with so much spice and predominantly chilly powder that sure was awesome to eat, but was just bad tikka. I did not expect a malai marinade, but this much chilly powder was a bomb for me. Gobi Manchurian was re-fried and plated, visibly soggy on the inside with the texture and fresh outside with the flavours. Kadai mushroom was perhaps the best from that night. It was pretty south Indian with the coriander and loads of spices, yet totally flavourful. Naan, Roti and the breads, the very reason we wanted to try this place was because I expected them to have a piping hot tandoor and my expectations were wrong. To complete the expedition with their "multi"cuisine, I also tried their fried and jeera rice. Fried rice was too cold to be called fried rice from a street food joint and jeera rice was slightly better off with hot food in the plate which itself was a sight of relief and thankfully saved some good for the night.
To summarise, visit the place if you're in for a tandoor and grilled chicken experience, which I hope is atleast good enough, but in general don't have any expectations like I did.

Read moreThis Restaurant has Everything in Food. Lots of varieties. Wanted to try as it is near to my office and went with a Colleague for a dinner. Finally, it was a bad experience.
Just ordered regular items - Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Paratha and Chicken Chettinad Gravy. Hardest Tandoori Chicken I ever tasted. Informed waiter on that in the end but he didn't care. Tandoori Paratha was Okay but it was more like Tandoori Roti. Chicken Chettinad is definitely not in Chettinad style - It felt like butter chicken masala with Chillies. Masala had good taste but it had useless Chicken pieces again. Price is really high compared to the quality of food.
Ambiance of AC restaurant (small with 6 tables) was good. Outside there are many tables. Costwise both are same. So we went into AC after seeing the Plates they provide outside. With same price, AC room had better plates, service and ambiance.
Anyways my review is based on just one visit and few...
