Visited them on 9th December 2020 for lunch. The place has good parking facilities and clean washrooms. This Udupi concept restaurant serves most vegetarian south Indian dishes, that you can think of. Idli, Dosa, Rava Dosa, Rava Idli and Thali items during lunch. I chose to have the Thali. When the promoters started their first restaurant in Bengaluru (guess it was in 2014) S.R. Rao Sahib and Lalitha Rao Sahib had plans of rejuvenating the Udupi concept restaurants. I have visited their Bengaluru outlets multiple times and have fond memories during their early days. However I guess consistency in quality across outlets can be a tough challenge and the Avinashi restaurant must really try hard to reach there. My lunch experience was something that I wish to forget. Thali taste was below average and service levels must go up by leaps and bounds. I do not think the price charged justify the service standards. Had to remind the person multiple times to serve a portion of Kootu and Poriyal. There were a lot of house flies on the table and surrounding areas. I had complained on the issue to the staff at the billing counter. During these times house flies can be a huge health hazard. I hope the restaurant take the required preventive steps. Regards, Praveen Saanker

This is on the Salem to coimbatore highway, Once you near Avinashi you have a lot of signboards for this restaurant, locating it would not be an issue, It is quite a spacy restaurant with around 30 to 40 tables that can easily accommodate more than 200 diners at once, We went there by morning 9:30 but Idli was over by that time, hence we ordered Mini Idli, Roast, Masala Roast and podi roast, Everything tasted good, Sambar was a typical Karnataka Udupi style sambar served along with Coconut chutney and a tasty Tomato garlic chutney, The waiters were professional and served in a professional manner, They have sweets and other varieties like ready to make rava roast powder, Biryani mix and many other ready mix Masala powders, Spacious parking and with decent washroom facility.

Outlet located on NH544 towards Coimbatore route, exit from highway is right in front of the restaurant, thus easy access keeps the restaurant busy with floating customers. Satisfactory free parking space. Restrooms are separated outside which is good, however cleanliness to be improved. Almost all the tables are full since im single i could squeeze in a table. Decent ambience. Experienced quick service. Orders were taken without waiting period and delivery of food to table was fast too. Tasty food, and good coffee... lots in menue yet to try. Lots of noise made at delivery counter, if we sit close to delivery counter this noise will definitely be annoying. I would recommend to try this restaurant food

Udupi Ruchi, located on the Kochi-Bangalore highway, is a pure vegetarian restaurant that offers a truly satisfying breakfast experience. As a food enthusiast, I was delighted to discover their extensive selection of dosas, which made for an indulgent and flavorsome start to the day.

The restaurant's spacious layout and ample parking space provide a pleasant and convenient dining environment for travelers. However, it was their breakfast options that truly won me over. The dosa varieties available were simply stupendous, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen.

From the classic Masala Dosa to the tangy and spicy Tomato Dosa, Udupi Ruchi caters to a range of taste preferences. Each dosa was expertly prepared, boasting a perfect balance of crispness and tenderness. The accompaniments, including sambar and chutneys, enhanced the flavors and complemented the dosas beautifully.

One standout aspect of my breakfast experience was the restaurant's quick and attentive service. The staff members were friendly and efficient, ensuring that orders were promptly taken and delivered. Their knowledge of the dosa menu was commendable, as they guided us through the various options and even made personalized recommendations based on our preferences.

While my focus was primarily on the dosa varieties, I couldn't help but notice the assortment of sweets available as well. The display showcased an array of delectable treats that looked simply irresistible. Although I didn't indulge in the sweets during my visit, their presence added to the overall appeal of Udupi Ruchi as a versatile dining destination.

In addition to the culinary delights, Udupi Ruchi maintained clean restrooms and provided adequate hand wash facilities. This attention to hygiene further enhanced the dining experience, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

In terms of payment convenience, Udupi Ruchi accepts both cash and card payments, accommodating a variety of preferences.

In conclusion, Udupi Ruchi on the Kochi-Bangalore highway is a breakfast haven for dosa enthusiasts. With its spacious setting, ample parking, and quick service, it provides an inviting atmosphere for a fulfilling start to the day. The dosa varieties on offer showcase the culinary expertise of the kitchen, while the friendly staff make the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a traveler or a local, Udupi Ruchi's delightful breakfast options and dedication to cleanliness make it a must-visit...
