Ok, this is one of the venues that I am going to recommend to anyone who asks me. And I would definitely wanna go next time, as i want to partake in berry picking, something that i missed this time.
Food - Amazing!! I had a buddha bowl and apple/cottage cheese dumplins and they were amazing.(photos below)
The only downside, they had amazing drinks. And when I say amazing drinks, i mean just on paper..when you look at the menu, you see so many curious combinations, but they dont transform that well into reality. Also, I feel good drinks deserve a classier glass/vessel. When you see a drink being named Chairman's Drink, you expect it to be served with similar flair and pizzaz, but it failed there. I have this expectation from the place only because 1- The premium location 2- The way servers and the staff conducts themselves 3- The prices being rather orbitant. Thanks to all three, i expect the food to not just taste good, but look good too..same for the drinks. The food gets all the marks, the drink not so much..in both appearance and taste, it felt short. It was too sweet, so much that you could NOT taste "smoked raspberry" or tonic in it. Anything smoked is a delicate flavour which is super easily lost..and it happened..the flavour was not there. And tonic is sooo potent unlike club soda, that you can instantly tell that the drink has tonic in it. And yet it just tasted sweet. So either it was not prepared properly OR the ratio was off.
The ambiance is phenomenal, the views of the tea garden and the rolling hills you get are phenomenal. This is definitely a must...
Read moreA must visit place. The good is great! Very good option for an all veg restaurant! The view is amazing but you should definitely be lucky to get the window seat! And reservation is required so do it the right way and you are sorted. The only drawback would be no ventilation or coolers when it gets a lil hot. Being a factory renovated they should have some fans or coolers when temperatures start to rise.
26-01-2025 Minestrone genovese soup - tasted like a lil fancy tomato soup - i wasn't inclined to it plus it was not hot enough for a soup. But the bread with it was amazing!! I liked the fact that when I ordered a 2/3 portion soup, they served us 3 breads. A fine dine service. Mini naan bombs - very cheesy and good flavour - the onion dressing tasted good! Cherrie berry special sushi - yummy!!! Must try!! The ginger was also not too strong but perfect for the pallet Lasagna - the layers were done perfectly - perfect balance of textures and flavours - the bread was also good. Good for a one person meal Burritto bowl - amazing flavours and age person meal - nachos, salsa, beans, guacamole, corn, sour cream, microgreens and mexican rice - really great!! Definitely try it! Americano was good - nice coffee beans Cold coffee - good Ordered curd it was soo fresh and thick like a yogurt! Hoping to revisit soon to try other cuisines..
There is a fine dine, supermarket, cafe and a play area for Lil kids with basic charge to let the kids enjoy with them . A lil further the tea estate! Just a...
Read moreWe visited Cherrie Berry and unfortunately had one of the worst experiences with their farm tourism package.
While we were having breakfast, a lady named Keerthana hurriedly sold us the farm tour for ₹2000. She was pushy, gave little time to think, and even discouraged us from shopping before leaving.
Private vehicles are not allowed. Instead, we were put in an old Bolero pickup truck with trunk seating. We accepted it positively for the experience, but the ride turned out to be extremely unsafe and horrific.
On reaching the farm, there was no welcome or hospitality. The only person around was an ill-mannered farm supervisor, clearly not trained to handle tourists. Instead of engaging with our interests, he forced his half-knowledge on us, and when we weren’t interested, he became loud and rude. My kids were frightened by his behavior.
There was nothing special to see at the farm — no strawberries worth mentioning, no meaningful activities, no proper arrangements. It felt like a fake tour that isn’t worth visiting even for free, let alone paying for.
The most disappointing part is that Keerthana showed zero concern for our feedback. She didn’t bother to apologize or even acknowledge the inconvenience.
While the restaurant food and service were good, this so-called farm tourism was a complete disaster. We not only wasted money but also lost an entire day of our vacation.
My strong suggestion: avoid booking their farm tour. It is unsafe, poorly managed, and not worth your...
