Popular franchise located all around Chennai famous for their signature biryanis. This franchise is one of the many restaurants in Chennai which has the taste consistency in their Biryani (will vouch for it any day).

Food: Chicken Biryani and Chicken 65 Biryani – Seeragasamba rice Biryani which had great spice level thus satisfying the spice craving of people here down south. While the former has soft and juicy pieces, the latter had well fried and boneless crunchy meat. YUMM!! Mutton Biryani – Another BL biryani but unlike chicken, this had great meat level and the flavours were saturated deep down in the meat. Chicken Kotthu Barotta – Don’t let the quantity fool you; it is filling, spicy and had great flavours. The barotta was soft while the gravy along with it was WOAH!!! Lime cooler – Every meal requires a happy ending and desserts/drinks can definitely provide that. Typical drink to beat the heat.

Ambience/Price: Biggest positives of this place are the parking space and the ambience. Good lighting and the service too was definitely a plus. Pricewise they’re kind of on the higher side but still good to visit...

Today we take away mutton briyani , chicken briyani and tandoori in Bangalore highways branch it is totally waste . The mutton briyani price is 430Rs but the mutton pieces in it is 3 bones no flesh in it simply it is like a kuska how come you serve all 3 pieces are bone , Next coming to chicken briyani the chicken is very hard it is like rubber and the rice is overcooked last the tandoori small shops tandoori's are far better than this thalapakkati very very hard pieces no flavours at all Last but not least the worst packaging you avoid plastic bags that is fine but that paper bag in rainy seasons very poor idea due to rain while coming in bike that paper bag got teared because of continuous rainfall and side dishes like onion raita fell down. you please pack properly better you can give some cotton bags like supermarket bags . All items are low in quality and quantity only one high thing is price hatsoff that you are all dishes price are...

Again I went to restaurant after 2 months still nothing changed! Mutton briyani pieces are very less and they charge huge price which is absolutely worthless. Waiters are behaving worse, still toilets are unhygienic I never too to this branch again. Be safe guys this restaurant is unhygienic and not value for the price which we spent for food , better go some other branch ——————- Worst service in Poonamallee branch Dont go this branch, Thalappakatti is good restaurant in taste wise and service wise and ambience wise, but this branch is very dirty and stinking. Toilets are very nasty and dining area, near washroom areas are soiled 😷

What ever menu you ask they will tell some thing in that, quantity is very less, if you buy parcel order or take away they will cheat you by giving some other item or with very less quantity. Try other branch of Thalappakatti it’s good 👍 Am a big fan of Thalappakatti briyani but I wont go to this branch...
