Dear People, I had a disastrous experience in this restaurant 2 days before while I visited here with my family on the way to chennai from a trip. We ordered the following
Chicken Briyani, Mutton Briyani, Dragon chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Pepper chicken, Wheat Parotta, Chicken Kothu Parotta, Lemon Juice and a Coke tin.
The food was completely horrible and the meat they used to cook did not seem to be fresh stock. Tandoori was just half cooked, chicken pepper masala was horrible and the raw flesh smell was there, Dragon chicken was just a piece of junk. I didn't want to create a mess there so we paid the bill and stepped out decently rather than wanting to create a scene there before other families who were diningin. Upon receiving a feedback mail I gave them the exact review for food quality but their management is not agreeing to their mistake and trying g tk save their staff and this premises. Heard from few of my other friends that these guys so this on regular basis. In fact when I warned them that I can take this with Food Safety dept and consumer forum they were wery lethargic in saying that food safety team visits their restaurant every week and these people keep bribing them for the mistake done by the restaurant staffs. NEVER VISIT THIS RESTAURANT IF YOUR PLANNING TO AND PLEASE DONT COMPROMISE ON YOUR HEALTH SINCE THESE PEOPLE AREN'T CONCERNED ABOUTCONSUMER AND THEIR HEALTH RATHER THAN THEIR MAIN MOTTO IS CHEATING PEOPLE AND LOOTING MONEY FOR A FOOD THATS TOTAL ZERO.
I ended up paying the bill of 3000+ and immediately I TOOK MY FAMILY TO STAR BRIYANI OPPOSITE TO THIS RESTAURANT AND PURCHASED FOOD ONCE AGAIN AND CONSUMED. Total waste of money. Being a regular customer this restaurant doesn't know to respect and value it's consumers
TOTAL EXPERIENCE IS ZERO (0/5) I DEMAND AN EXPLANATION FROM THEIR MANAGEMENT ON THIS LETHARGIC WAY OF...
Read moreMy worst Experience about Kanchipuram Dindigul Thalappakatti Hotel To the Management of Dindigul Thalappakatti, I am Venkat and I visited your Kanchipuram outlet on September 29, 2025, at 9:30 PM to avail the advertised "Dosa & Parotta Offer." My experience was highly unsatisfactory. Specifically, the portions of the dishes I ordered were far below acceptable standards: • I ordered the Paneer Butter Masala and Kadai Paneer Gravy. • The total quantity of paneer in both gravies combined was a disappointing six pieces. The overall quantity and quality of the food, especially the gravies, were not satisfactory. Furthermore, the service was abysmal, showing a clear lack of focus on customers who were utilizing the promotion. This unacceptable decline in both product and service quality during a promotional period strongly suggests that the offer is misleading. I urge other potential patrons to avoid this outlet, particularly during offer hours. Please note that I consider this matter serious and, if not addressed appropriately, I intend to escalate this complaint to the Consumer Court. I expect an immediate and satisfactory explanation...
Read moreIt's been eons since I last visited a Dindigul Thalappakatti outlet, though have been a frequent very many years ago. Have felt their consistency and quality drop methodically over a period of time. Quite recently, while driving back to Chennai, I decided to have a late lunch and chanced upon their outlet at Kanchipuram, on the Bangalore Chennai highway. It was a real late evening lunch and the menu options were limited. Having read that Dindigul Thalappakatti has made a turn around in terms of their quality and a revamped menu, sat with my fingers crossed. And, what arrived was proof enough. A lot of effort has, indeed, gone into their current offering. The chicken biryani, though a tad bit over spiced, was hot and fragrant. The chicken milagu soup brought in a wave of relief and the 65 was aptly cooked and succulent. The Gulab Jamoon arrived from their cold storage. The service was clinical but swift and the pricing was apt. While seated in a corner, relishing my meal, the whole bunch of staff were prepping the restaurant for dinner time and they also had a huddle to discuss strategy I left satiated and...
