We are here for vacation. Reached little late by 8PM We reached the reception and 2 reception guys talking within themselves. I told I had a booking, they didn't bothered and went on discussing something. Responded only after 5 mins. After that check-in was fast Room is small for its cost (5400), and I feel AC is not working properly. Air is not fresh. There is a big drainage outside the hotel and that view is very bad from window The room is connected to other room thru a door which is locked. But we could hear all discussions from other room. If some newly married couple happens to stay in this room, it will really uncomfortable. The quilt on the bed was stinking and torn and there are some blood stains on the bed sheet. Pillow covers are also stinking. I called the room service. But even after 1/2 I didn't get any response. so I captured photos and went down showed at reception. Then they told that housekeeping will be closed by 8PM but they will make some arrangements. They changed only after an hour. Bedsheet on the mattress is very thin. Generally, matress will be covered with a thin sheet of bedsheet / protecter and then with a thick bedsheet. But here it is not. It is almost like we are sleeping directly on mattress TV is on and remote is missing, and there is no way to switchoff the TV. Again when I complained they came and searched the entire room for remote but they couldn't find it. We had covered the TV with towels for whole night Window handles are broken Food cost is very high like 5 start hotel and quantity is low. Dental kits are missing. Morning they arranged a breakfast buffet which starts at 7 and end at 10 AM. We came little late 9:30 AM, for B/F, after visiting temple. When we came there all tables are filled with utencils. No one is there to clean the table. Somehow we grabbed a small table. Only one lone waitress is serving as well as cleaning the tables. There is not even cutlery (plates, spoons, forks, cups). We have wait for 10 mins to get them. Most of the dishes are empty. Food taste is OK. Overall I feel, hotel ambience is ok, but there are very little staff to manage the things. They claimed this is a 3 * hotel, but this is definitely not. I feel most of the reviews are fake. I'll never stay in this hotel again Hotel is pretty far from city, we should try only if we have our own vehicle

Read moreKindly don't join as a staff with bergamont group they doing very wrong with staff specially with girls I'm sharing my experience I join on 21st November MM legacy kanchipuram bergamont hotel they having girls accomodation inside the hotel & it's wrong to call accomodation it's only one hall room & 8 to 9 members we were staying & not safe at all there is no door to close they put one cloth to cover the space & for we r staying inside the hotel we r working 12,13,14 hours & mostly trainees r working very less staff every company provide uniform but this company they will provide saree for girls & they use to say bye everything your own money we r provide only saree & the most & wrost thing I everseen my grandfather expired on 11th December so on emergency I came back there salary date was 11th but they give salary on 12th there we 2 new staff join they gave salary that new girl but they hold my salary i request them I need money on emergency I came & I'll come back but there so called management saying they will give after u come back or rejoin the property even i request them actually they have a property in my hometown also I request them if u want I can continue their but now I can't come their & join they not agree because of their behaviour i decided not to work with this company guys if anyone wanted to join plz be careful & talking about my 21 days salary u guys keep no problem I will think i donate my salary for them who really...
Read moreI may be behind in writing this review, I must admit I had an excellent stay at this hotel. As a lone visitor from Chicago, I had no idea that Kanchipuram would have such a lovely hotel. Everything about it is amazing, from the front desk to the chef. For his cuisine, Chef Chandan Singh merits a lot of praise. Dinner and lunch were fantastic. He adjusts his cooking to suit the guests' preferences. Satisfying everyone is a difficult chore, but he is doing a fantastic job at it. I just had the morning breakfast, which was excellent. Chef Raman from Kumbakonam did a terrific job. It was a typical breakfast in south India. Don't miss the sambar, vadai, pongal, and tomato-coconut chutney.|The front desk staff was impressive. To assist me, they went above and beyond. The tour operator botched up my flight back to Chennai. Although my booking is not with them, the booking website sent me a confirmation and did not care to resolve my problem. The front desk staff helped me out by taking matters into their own hands and solving the problem. Even at a five-star hotel where I paid US $200 per night, I never received this kind of treatment.
