I haven't had an experience where I need to share negative reviews till now. But in Faruuzi, S.Kolathur/Kovilambakkam; I had the worst restaurant experience ever. We ordered BBQ chicken from there. I ate the outer flesh but around the bone while eating itself I got a faint bad smell. Then I smelled the piece and it was the worst smell ever. You know the smell from the truck which is used to transport live chicken? Like that kind of bad smell. And I had the urge to vomit 🤮🤢 When we informed the restaurant they didn't care too much. When asked what is it you're saying for this, they mentioned they are bringing a fresh order. Who asked for fresh order? They've to say something about the problem right? We told we don't want a repeat of that order, how can we still eat whatever you're cooking? They brought out other dishes we ordered, but We lost the appetite to eat after that.. we lost hope to eat whatever they bring out.. We just cancelled everything and paid for whatever we ate already. They just got feedback from us, nothing else.. We could have created a scene by raising our voice or something but we just left the place feeling fear for whatever will happen that I ate some of that chicken.
But thanks to God, still able to post review.. Maybe We should have raised our voice there? Maybe should have informed people who are eating there? Felt guilty after coming home that day, that we didn't do anything..
Hope this review helps someone. Hope the restaurant business understand that it's not only business but so many people's health is in their hands.. And take necessary care to cook any meal.. Because people trust them and going there to enjoy a meal. Only to find it disappointing is making us to lose that trust..
Yeah, atmosphere was good. It was spacious and it was not clustered. The only thing I...
Read moreMy family and I recently enjoyed a delightful dinner at Faruuzi Multicuisine Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. With eight family members, we had the pleasure of trying a wide variety of dishes, and each one exceeded our expectations.
The evening began with the Crab Meat Soup, which was rich and flavorful, setting the perfect tone for the meal. We then savored the Hariyali Chicken and Alfam Chicken, both of which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Kashmiri Pulav was aromatic and paired wonderfully with the succulent Paneer Tikka.
For the main course, we indulged in the Chicken Biryani, Chicken Fried Rice, and Chicken Noodles. Each dish was bursting with flavors and cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's expertise in blending spices and ingredients harmoniously.
The grand finale of our meal included the Sizzling Brownie and Falooda, both of which were a treat for the senses. The brownie was served warm with a rich chocolate sauce, and the Falooda was a refreshing end to our culinary journey. We also enjoyed the Mint Lemon Juice, which was refreshing and complemented our meal perfectly.
Our server, Sam, was attentive and courteous throughout the evening. He ensured that all our needs were met promptly and made excellent recommendations. His friendly demeanor and professionalism added to the overall positive experience.
Faruuzi Multicuisine Restaurant provided an unforgettable dining experience with its delectable dishes, warm ambiance, and excellent service. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable meal. Thank you, Sam, and the entire Faruuzi team, for making our family...
Read moreWent for a sunday lunch here with my friends, was highly recommended. We reached there by 1pm. And quickly got a 6 seater table. The first appearance of the Menu card was depressing! A laminated sheets joined together. Now this was least encouraging for me to read it. If the menu card was like this how's the cooking going to be! Being a pure vegetarian, there were the usual suspects. What could possibly go wrong with Cream of Tomato soup & chilly Paneer! Others ordered from the Arabian cuisine and chicken soup. The recommended "Aatukaal Paaya " was not available. Not that it bothered me. Tomato soup was a bit too sour 😖🍋 for my taste, and the Chilly Paneer, though the presentation was lovely (pic) was not soo chilly. Had to get a bowl of Mint chutney to finish it. (Mint chutney came after several requests) must assume am lucky, as the waiters were from my hometown, West Bengal, and me talking in bengali, got my chutney in few requests. The main course were rotis & Kadai Paneer. The others ordered, mutton rohangosh, chicken biriyani, BBQ chicken & fish tikka. They seemed happy with their fare. We finished lunch with a lemon &mint soda, and took leave. On the whole, a decent fare. And yes the quantity were quite big.
Third visit here for a quiet wedding anniversary dinner. Mushroom soup, BBQ chicken, rotis, kulcha and paneer lababdar. All very tasty and decent portion. But Cream of Mushroom soup isn't sauteed mushrooms floating in a sweet thin white sauce!! And mushrooms shouldn't be sauteed in oil! Butter better. God it's a curse, when you're a chef and...
