Hotel Gowri Kkrishna — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

It's an old road-side south Indian restaurant. i entered the premises at 730am on a Friday morning. a group of elderly regulars had occupied a corner table and were busy sipping coffee while glancing through the day's edition of dina-thanthi news paper. the restaurant does not have much of an ambience and the road in front of the shop is a narrow one and a busy bus route. can't park car in that road. restaurant has no car parking facility. staff are courteous and they did not accept tips. the food is good, but the side dishes like chutney and sambar are all loaded with garlic. maybe the the locals prefer it that way. food is served on plantain leaf which feels nice. hope they keep it that way. south Indian meal costed 85 rupees which seemed a tad expensive. the meal was comparable to the Iyer mess meal at Malleswaram Bangalore, except for the garlic overload in everything. otherwise quite OK. can say that it's like a...
