Heritage museum. Understand that this building is around 500 years old. Actually this was the palace and converted as jail during British Rule period, Umaithurai was jailed here the room is still mailed in his name. Lot of statues are displayed collected across Tirunelveli, which are more than 500 year old. Different types of Communities lived across and their lifestyles also displayed. Some urn during BC also displayed.

The museum has stone artifacts all over its building and there is a child play area with a big dinosaur papier-mâché statue in the front so it is essentially a museum and child park.
