Disappointing Experience at KFC: Oily Chicken and Subpar Service
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at KFC that left me dissatisfied with both the quality of the food and the level of service provided. Firstly, the fried chicken I received was excessively oily, making it an unappetizing and greasy mess. It seemed like the chicken had been fried in old oil, which negatively impacted its taste and texture.
To add to my disappointment, the service at the restaurant was far from satisfactory. After placing our order, my companions and I were left waiting for a staggering 25 minutes before our food finally arrived. This prolonged delay was incredibly frustrating, especially considering that we had chosen the dining option, expecting a reasonably swift service.
Furthermore, despite explicitly choosing to dine in, our food was unexpectedly packed as if it was intended for takeout. This oversight not only resulted in unnecessary wastage of packaging materials but also disrupted the overall dining experience. To make matters worse, the order was missing the Pepsi that was supposed to be included, leaving us without a beverage that we had already paid for.
Overall, my visit to KFC was a letdown on multiple fronts. The excessively oily chicken, coupled with the slow service and the failure to provide the complete order, left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated. He also said he would mark the order as delivered soon, as he had a time limit and didn’t want his incentive to be affected. When I called him again to ask why he did this, he began arguing and gave lame excuses. He even told me to "read the message properly," implying that I was illiterate. Additionally, I received the order 30 minutes late. When my father politely asked him why he did that, the delivery person started shouting on the road, lying about the situation, and being rude. As he was leaving, he even told my father, "Don't order food hereafter." Who is he to say such disrespectful things to an elderly person? However, after 25 minutes, when I inquired about the order, they only then took the receipt for packing. To my disappointment, they informed me that one of the items, smoky chicken, was not available and suggested a replacement. I declined the offer, but they requested an additional 15-minute wait for preparation.
When I received the order, I found the taste to be very poor. The spiciness was not evenly mixed, and the overall flavor was unsatisfactory for the smoky chicken dish. I am extremely disappointed with the service and the quality of the food.
