Must read... I recently visited this hotel after seeing good ratings on Google, but my experience was very disappointing. After sitting at the table, no one came to attend for more than 10 minutes. Even after calling a staff member, it still took a long time for anyone to come. Basic things like a tissue stand were missing, and tissues were just placed on the table.

When the food finally arrived, there was no spoon with the rice bowl, and after requesting one, it still took about 5 minutes to get it. Fried rice was served without any sauce, which is usually served everywhere. Because of that, I had to eat the fried rice with paneer gravy instead.

Maybe this place is good for South Indian items like idli and dosa (which we didn’t try), but the main course was really disappointing. Honestly, I don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. It was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had, especially in a tourist...

Please don't be mislead reading the reviews. I tried doing the same after a long day of train journey from ooty to mettupalyam and back and in evening when I came back to ooty and ordered their masala dose and onion dose I was disappointed and shocked.

Being from Bengaluru and having grown up in a stable diet of doseys I was disarrayed when the items came the masala dose was not at all crisp and was limp and the palya was near to a soggy liquid state.

Was so hungry that I just gulped it with the chutney,sambar and tomato paste that was served. The onion Dosa was far more pathetic with the chopped raw onions being sprinkled on a limp flour batter with no flavor or roasted at all.

Did not venture beyond this and felt there is Mohan hotel or Adyar Anand bhavan or other small qsr hotels which can give a quick value for money for the food provided.
