MALABAR RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Very rude management, we literally felt why did i even get to that restaurant . 1.they made us wait fr literally half an hour for meals and later all we got was dry rice cold sambar cold poriyal and everything were tasting average and when we asked why is it not hot they started arguing with us saying we have arrived late which is 2.45pm and we got food on table at 3:15pm so after lot of fight they very casually took sambar alone saying they will make it hot and brought back to table after 15 mins which was not even made hot. I told me and my husband both were local guides and we shall write there approach and behaviour all in review and they were no matter what budging, all they said was go write what ever u want. We dont care. There is a hair follical especially men hair in ny curd and they said its not from hotel We had called out to ask if there was avial in veg meals before even we arrive, they said yes its available and later when we went it wasnt there in plate but manager was arguing with me saying no its there. Im like what ! Check my plate and he wags his hand as if he os treating his customers like some dogs. I suggest all the customers to please not visit this place If u want to entertain a. Poor and rude management b. Pathetic ambience c. no empathy towards ladies Pls go or just stay starving but pls dont go to this hotel and walk out eating nothing . I wish i can offer them...

Bloody idiots, using rotten and spoilt chicken. When I complained about it, they responded saying it was fresh chicken and denied responsibility. Be careful before ordering from these guys. complained to the food safety department about these people and see what happened.

FBO has valid Fssa License but not displayed in the prominent place.

Sanitizer not provided in the entrance for customer.

3.Food handlers are not wearing mask and other safety gadgets properly.

4.At the time of inspection 3kg of spoiled chicken found in the Refrigerator.

5.Fly nuisance was observed during the inspection.

6.Food handlers not obtained medical certificate.

7.Cleaning Chart and Pest control records not maintained.

8.Kitchen Premises and Store room are not kept clean.

9.Fbo not adopted RUCO Complaince.

Action taken*

1. 3kg of Spoiled chicken seized and destroyed.

2. U/Sec 55 Notice issued to FBO for above mentioned defects...

I have been a regular customer to this Malabar Restaurant. Typical Malabaari! One can expect quality food and a better customer service experience.

Strategically located near Bhatathi nagar Bus Point which pulls good crowd post 1800 hrs. However, this restaurant has to improve the Dine In capacity and ambience point of view.

Cost wise, genuinely put up.

Once had a small grievance and elucidated to them on call. In next few moments, the kitchen Supervisor was at my doorstep explaining the situation. They are very responsive and prompt to sort things out.

Quality of the food is too good! Especially Malabar Biryani! However, be sure to check in any case if the Meat used in Biryani, butter masala or any another dishes where meat can be used as secondary property (simultaneously used for two or more dishes)

I would recommend this restaurant. Dine in with family and take away are...
