Mr 90's family Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I recently dined at this restaurant and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable, and the service was prompt and courteous. As for the food, there were some hits and some misses.

Starting with the positives, the dragon chicken was definitely a standout. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce had a delicious blend of sweet and spicy flavors. Another dish that impressed me was the garlic fish, which was fresh and flavorful. The butter Nan was also a great accompaniment to the main dishes, and the butter chicken gravy was rich and creamy, as it should be.

However, I was a bit disappointed with the biryani and the flavors did not seem to blend together as well as they could have. It fell short of my expectations.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend trying out the dragon chicken, garlic fish, butter Nan, and butter chicken gravy. These dishes were exceptional and really stood out. The ambiance was neat and clean. The place was compact but spacious. When we arrived, the place was slightly crowded. The place doesn't seem so nice from outside. The biriyani and other food were quite sufficient for a normal eater. Prices are ideal. We had ordered afghan tandoori chicken. It was a really good one. Its price comes to 440/- full. Chicken 65 biriyani was like typical bhai biriyani. It's not so impressive. The taste was just ok. But the 65 pieces were too good. Its price comes to 230/-. Mr. 90's special chicken biriyani was good. It had fried egg and 65 pieces in it. It tasted good. Its price comes to 240/-. Mongolian chicken fried rice was really good. Not like typical pepper fried rice kind. Its price comes to 240/-. Crispy fried chicken with honey was very good. It tasted sweet in the beginning and spicy at the end. A must try one. With a good amount of chicken pieces. It costs 260/-. We get very little mayonnaise with the dishes. We will have to order if we want more. Its 20/- for extra mayonnaise. We can...

Tried this new restaurant in Ambattur. Ordered Thai fried rice, Chicken clear soup and Tandoori chicken. Thai friend rice was very close to the real thai friend rice. Not many restaurants in chennai do that. The chicken clear soup was good. The Tandoori chicken was good too but i would have preferred it very well cooked. The serving was done by one of the very humble owner himself.

The ambience was quite good. More than what you may expect from seeing the restaurant from the outside.

There are not many good restaurants in Ambattur let alone the ones with good ambience. This new one is very good and i hope they keep up their good work. Hopefully they don’t change as the fame catches up.

The only downside i could write is that they do not have a car parking space. You got to find it yourself nearby.
