I had a terrible experience yesterday. We ordered veg meals, biryani, and a few chicken sides, but the food was just average. The atmosphere was disappointing, and the seating arrangements were uncomfortable. Given the high prices and the hype, it was definitely not worth it, especially considering the service.

If you go after 1:45 PM, they will begin closing, and we weren’t aware of this. Despite being very hungry, we were rushed to finish quickly. While eating, we had to practically shout to get the side curries, and the language barrier made communication difficult. In a place like Chennai, it's essential to have staff who understand and speak Tamil—otherwise, it's unfair to expect customers to manage.

Additionally, don’t use the excuse of being crowded or understaffed—the restaurant wasn’t even busy, with a maximum of 10 people during our visit. They had plenty of staff, but no one seemed to listen to what we asked for. There was also no water to wash our hands, and we witnessed staff cleaning their plates and hands using the same towel. The table cleaning was very poor too.

The food and service here were far worse than what you would get from local street vendors. Instead of spending so much for such poor service and food, we could have gone to Nandhanapalace or another good Andhra restaurant like Amaravathi.

Visit this Andhra mess at your own risk if you are okay with a very below par service.Went in with the excitement to have authentic Non-veg Andhra meals but rather came out with utter disappointment mainly due to their inattentive service.

1. Food was served in paper sheet & not in banana leaf which spoiled the mood to eat.
2. They do not have packaged drinking water & only have carbonated drinks.
3. On a Sunday afternoon,you will need to wait for 10 mins for the person in charge to take your orders(with their hand written menu card passed onto each group) & another 10-15 minutes for the food to be served to your table.
4. The starter 'Nellore chicken fry' we ordered was cold when served & we had to ask them to heat again
5. The basic accompaniments like pappu,sambar,fry ,rasam should be kept on each table but we had to ask for each & every item to be served.I understand it was a weekend but nobody was willing to ask what we went.
