New Henry & Wolsey Bakery — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Today was the grand opening of my wife's new shop, a very special and spiritual moment for our family. To celebrate, we ordered 25 vegetarian puffs from Henry & Wolsey. I had clearly informed the staff that we needed only veg puffs, as my wife is a Brahmin and our family strictly avoids egg and non-veg food.

Unfortunately, we later found out that they had given us egg puffs instead. It was printed as "egg puff" on the bill, but in the urgency and excitement of the occasion, I missed noticing it—trusting that our request would be honoured.

We had already distributed the puffs to all our guests before realizing the mistake. This caused us huge embarrassment and emotional distress, as it was completely against our beliefs and values.

I contacted their executive, Ms. Shahnaz, and requested a replacement or solution. But she refused to help, even though the error was from their side and I had clearly requested vegetarian items.

We trusted Henry & Wolsey to be a part of our happy day, but instead, it became a painful memory. I sincerely hope they take this feedback seriously and handle future customer requests with more care and...

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the birthday cake we ordered from you for my wife’s special day.

We had clearly requested a pineapple-flavored ice cake, but what was delivered was vanilla—with absolutely no trace of pineapple flavor. When we raised this issue, instead of acknowledging the mistake, your staff argued with us, insisting it was pineapple, which it clearly wasn’t. This kind of response is not only unprofessional but also incredibly frustrating.

A birthday is a meaningful occasion, and your mistake—and the way it was handled—completely let us down. The cake was not only the wrong flavor but also of poor quality, making the experience even more disappointing.

We expected better from a brand like yours.
