Oottupura Homely Mess — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I was recommended the place by the auto rickshaw driver who took us to the palace. While there is a restaurant right at the entrance to the palace, i went here because auto drivers are better than google and i prefer homely meals any day.

First of all it was not crowded, the place is neat and clean and run by i presume by a family.

They were extremely courteous to us , espcially to my friend who was sick. They the food was hot and tasty. The fish was crisp and fresh, it tasted wonderful.

My friend since he was sick , he just ate plain rice and some rasam, they did not charge him full rate for meals, they charged only half.

Overall the nature of the owner and the staff was extremely pleasent. The food tasty , and the price was nothing at all.
