Price is reasonable. Whole sale rate. However check the dish and buy only good quality fish (people try to sell old fish at discount rate) carry your own plastic bags.They open at early morning 0430 and less busy after 8am... Pls bring bags or container to carry the fish they don't provide any covers. Almost all shop has QR payment. Cutting also available for a charge at the backside. 30 INR Per kilo for small fish and 20 INR for big fish. Some people in cutting area also accept gpay. Washrooms available inside but don't expect it to be near. Parking available inside the compound although busy times very difficult to find a spot for cars. Two wheelers can be parked inside or outside. Same way cars also can be parked few meters down the road. There is a small shop sells dry fish, eggs and bags aswell. Small tea shop in the corner. Negative: Initial days quality was good. Now a days they are mixing spoiled fish and selling. Especially they are adding some sort of chemicals in fish, and mixing these fish with good fishes. It's very difficult to find chemical fish while buying. You can identity only when you cook. That chemical smell spreading on the kitchen and easily you can identity. They are mixing chemicals in both big and small fishes. So buy very careful to avoid chemical fishes. One time they sold me spoiled fish. I had doubt and asked cutting wala while cutting. He didn't say anything. But entire fish got waste and couldn't eat after cooking. Be very careful. Some shops are purposefully selling waste fish. Least bother about customers health. About 30 fish stalls available in this market. All varieties of fish are available here. Particularly Vanjiram, black Vavval, Sankara type fish and Prawn, Shark, Crab are famous here. Price are moderate. The distance from Chrompet and Pallavaram and from Pammal main road is 2 kilometers. Situated in Anna Salai connecting Pammal and Nagelkeni. Car parking and bike parking facility are provided on the West side of the market. But some customers without knowing this, parking their bike on the road itself.
