Ovenfresh — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Ambiance of the Place is good with seating capacity of 30 odd ppl and it resembles any pastry place or a cafe.. with some good paintings to adore the walls.. Since the place is new the maintenance is quite good.. Pastries and savories are well arranged in the racks..

Service was good with waiting time to be on the average side.. The servers were friendly and so were the managers who were eager to find out how the food and service fared..

Given below is the list of items tries and my take on them..

Paneer Pan Pizza : This one was priced at 155rs was a 7 inch Pizza which was really good with generous cheese and sauces and also had decent amount of paneer and veggies..

Mexican Veg Sandwich : Priced at 110rs this was Club Sandwich served with chips and sauces.. The Filling was good with good amount of mayo and sauce filled with veggies like capsicum and onions.. Had it been grilled a bit more it would have been lot better..

The pammal outlet had an inaugural offer of 50% on the Pastry and Beverage Line so all the items below i tried at half price.

Classic Chocolate Shake : Originally priced at 120rs this was a thick and consistent chocolate shake that was topped with generous amount of whipped cream and choco chips.. worth the 60 rs i paid but doubt if i will pay 120 for this.. Max i would price this at 100rs..

Blue Moon : Originally priced at 75 this was basically a blue curacao drink which was a bit too concentrated IMO..

Filter Coffee : Priced at 25rs this was a good and refreshing Coffee..

Pastries : Tried a eggless Truffle(65rs) and chocolate Donut(45rs)..Both were fresh and really good and moist.. The Truffle was well made while the Chocolate Donut had a yummy chocolate topping..

Two visits and both the time i found them to be consistently good and i am definitely gonna try them...

i was there to buy a pizza they told me if you buy 1 medium you will get 1small for free of cost. so i ordered 1 medium tandoori pizza as it shown price and asked for free 1small continental pizza. From the beginning to the end cashier and employee are there but no one said anything about the prices changed and updated to new slab. Finally when i was upto pay the bill amount they told sorry sir the prices is been updated to new slab so have to pay extra, i asked them but your signages are there so i thought that's the price. If it's updated why don't you tell me firstly i asked. But they maintained silent only. I was really disappointed with this act. After i paid i was there to check if this thing happened to me only or someone else. I saw 3 more costumers as same problem. This like looting people's money. I was to my so left with it. I had been ordering since Owens fresh opened in Pammal and I had always rated them very high, the reason for the poor rating is the worst experience I had couple of days back, after ordering a birthday cake, that was supposed to be delivered to home, first they said they can't deliver on the day when they were supposed to, payment was done in full the previous day as I always do, later when I when to pick up the cake, I was very irritated to see the cake kept on the table outside with 1/4 opened. I was shocked and asked them why is it kept open outside and the guy cooly answered there was no space in the refrigerator, when I escalated this to their manager, he was only trying to defend the other guys act stating no the ac is running and hence he would have kept it on the outside table, though he said sorry this will not repeat, it's too late, and I will never order from this...
