Sappida Vanga in Tamil means "Please come to dine".
It's a 24 hour crowded restaurant with very tasty south Indian food, breakfast and snacks.
There is no regular customer as it is connected to highway. Its is crowded by both family as well as bachelors, drivers etc.
In short "A good place for a quick bite"
Crowds here are decent.
What was amazing here is that the waiteress who were serving the food were in their traditional attire with lots of gajra I their hair.
At the time when we saw them we were confused as why the guest are serving food then later in a couple of minutes we realised that they were waiters. :)
They served the food so quick, hot and freshly made.
Though the air conditioning system seems like not working even when it is on, a little unhygienic due to 24 hour rush and high table turnover.
But its food is really amazing. Once you get the food on the table you will forget everything
I went with my office seniors for official purpose to stay at the Hotel Vassi Palaze which is expensive as comparatively the service and the room size provided.
But adjacent to this hotel is the Sappida Vanga Restaurant which is actually worth in terms of money and food provided.
Food is so economical that in Rs.100 you can have a stomach full.
Only problem here is that no one able to speak hindi except the pan wala outside...

Food was delicious 😋. And the taste deserves 🌟 🌟 🌟
Hospitality was good but one small incident happened relating to the waiter in veg section, which although not note worthy but felt this shouldn't have happened. Due to which hospitality shall be given 🌟 And overall rating as 🌟 🌟
Incident was, After having the chapathi, waiter kept the bill on my table. It was for INR 70 I kept INR 200. He took that and returned with INR 120 instead of INR 130 and handed me that menu book having one INR 100 note and one INR 20 note. I understood that he had already kept INR 10 as tips. Still he blocked my way looked towards me. I asked him, do i need to pay anything for tips. He said yes. I gave him another INR 10, then only he left me. So it's better to go to the counter and pay directly. For just INR 70 food, I had paid INR 20 tips. This behavior wasn't not...

Should cost you around 400-500 for 2 if you plan to have a heavy breakfast like 2 items for each person.
There are posters in the hotel reading that they use only cold pressed oil, 9 varieties of idly’s sold.
It’s a 24/7 restaurant. Only vegetarian AC hall available but it was closed for us as there were very little crowd when we went on a weekday morning.
They have television playing sports and news channels.
You are served a free dessert ( bread halwa ) and looks like it varies everyday.
You almost get 5 varieties of chutneys and also the idly/dosa podi which was yum.
We tasted dosa, idly, poori, pongal and all tasted really yum. Vada is small in size ( just a size bigger than of a normal jamun ) Puttu is freshly made when asked.
Ample...
