Sre Saravana Bavan - Veg restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I was to Somanur for a week, where in I couldn't find a good hotel around my place of stay. So the 4 days of adjustment with hotels around had me to run through Google search for the best hotels so I was to this hotel 4Kms away. The Outlook gave a good vibe but things faded in while, the first bummer was the hotel don't have the menu card, so people wouldn't be aware of the prices. Ordered a Gobi fried rice, the rice was served with ketchup. I did asked for the chilli sauce, quite some time they pulled me up one from the kitchen but seems it isn't hardly been used for long time the flow passage has been hardened and I called up the server for it, while he was to serve it the bottle cap blew away. While the quantity and taste were mediocre, Some of the florets were fried, while rest were fresh tossed. Secondly, the cashier an old man, shouting its staff over a missing item in an customers bill without mannerism. I further had gone in for a idly after appealing chutney on the table but the chutney too was average, roadside cart vendor would have better ones . Sambar with dead fly. After asked about they instantly changed leaf with new idlies. Highly disappointed with the people who rate of far well. The worst hotel. Marked the fly.

Located bang on the highway, not easy to miss the signboard, especially when you're hungry. Good, assisted parking (as usual the watchman says good morning even at night for tips).

Very clean & appears to be hygienic restaurant. Prices are nominal, food wasn't anywhere near oily, very fast service, if not ultra fast, food was served in banana leaf. They provide chutney, sambar & onion chutney in a small pot right on the table

Poor quality of food preparation. They are not changing oil for Poori, even couple of days they are using same oil. Have to look this serious issue by food and health department, otherwise it may affect severe health issues to senior citizens and kids.

Service also very poor, they are not ready to say even what are the foods available and when kid asking idly, they are saying no to my kid but immediately idly serving to nearby table. Why they are using this type of guys in this food industry. They may not have awareness about food and it's necessary.

Food and health department should involve this type of hotels and short out these issues in any hotels and ensure food...
