home kitchen. Experience rich taste & great ambience This home style dining experience Cemter is located right outside the grand Gangaikunda Cholapuram temple. The owner is friendly. He is simpleton sporting simple dhothi. your food is served straight from their personal home kitchen. The *essence* of home kitchen is reflected in whatever they serve. They are honest enough to admit the limited items they have. We ordered and had Dosa with onion chutney ( no regular sambhar and coconut chutney accompaniment ). To compensate they served home made idli power with gingerly oil. The ambience is made with local materials. Quite spacious. Can accommodate large guests. If you want eat safe , simple and homely food just walk in. Do not expect endless menu. Have what is available. Great experience indeed.

A very home style experience. It’s a house that’s used as a makeshift restaurant. The food here is very tasty. The service was the highlight. We were treated like we were guests at someone’s house. Absolutely lovely experience. We had the meals but we found the quantity a bit too much for our liking. And after eating, we are expected to take our own leaf out - a custom that was very new to me. Overall I would totally recommend trying this place. It’s located quite close to the temple parking area.

The food was very good, especially the dosa. Poori is not recommended. Service could improve. Especially during morning rush hours. Waiters are often yelling and serving the wrong food

Looking for a home away from home kinda food experience? This is a go to place... the dosa is simply how amma or Appa makes and the kaara chutney was the best of all. With the food being done in the old style home and the small kids coming around to serve the guests, a fulfilling...
