Very disappointing experience with cake delivery

I ordered a 3 kg cake for my son's birthday from this bakery, costing around ₹4000 including delivery charges. We clearly mentioned that we needed the cake delivered by 12:00 noon, as we had planned the birthday lunch for 1:00 PM. However, when we checked with them at 11:00 AM on the day of the event, we were told that we should have called again in the morning to confirm the delivery — even though we had already specified the time at the time of order.

After several follow-ups, they promised delivery by 12:00, then kept pushing it to 12:30, 12:45, and finally delivered it only at 1:10 PM. This forced us to completely replan our birthday celebration. To make things worse, the cake arrived with visible damage to the fondant design on top, likely due to mishandling during delivery.

Really disappointed, especially since this is such a well-known bakery brand in Vellore. I expected better service and professionalism. I won’t be ordering...

Don't ever try the premium or royal category cakes here for birthday celebration. We had a very bad experience here. Initially they did a mistake of making the different one ( Normal butter scotch) instead of the royal one. Then we pointed out, that's where the twist is, we should have taken the normal one itself. They have remade the normal butter scotch to royal one, then it became a whole mess. The cake was not at all good they way it was presented in the demo. It was a complete mess including the taste as well. Very bad experience that too on a first birthday of child... Got a scolding from a entire family for choosing...
