The Delhi dhaba-veg — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Horrible service or lack of it. I place order through Swiggy and initially the delivery time was 30-40. I had to cancel the order after 1 hr 15 min, after i was told two different times that order will be dispatched after 10 mins. I don't know about the food. I have never eaten there before and now I never will. But the service is certainly atrocious to put it mildly and the management is laughable. If they cannot serve, they should not take the order. And waste my time. I went by the rating in Swiggy, which is 4.2. but all that is fake. It turns out that i cannot rate the experience if I cancel the order. Therefore, if I cancel the order due to delay on part of the restaurant, i cannot give my feedback. And others will never know this restaurant...

A very bang for the buck place. Not a place to take your girlfriend to, but a place to spend some good time with your friends. But it's a parcel-centered restaurant, so there isn't everything you'd expect. I mean, you've gotta pay the bill at the counter, or else the person at the counter will come to your table and will take orders, and other waiter duties. Can't complain much about the food, Paneer Butter Masala should've had more Butter, else naming it Paneer Masala and then adding a Paneer Butter Masala to the menu would be great. They've got a rather small menu which makes it easier for ordering as there's no confusion between, say Kadai Paneer, Paneer Lababdar, or Paneer Butter Masala. Menu is on point, so is the bang for the buck...

So as the name suggest ”delhi dhaba” I thought I would be having some really lip smacking north Indian cuisine but it didn't take much time to disappoint me . When I entered the restaurant I saw the pictures of old actor /actress (dharemendra /heema ) on the backseat of the chair but unfortunately it didn't give any Bollywood vibes and the background music they played was tollywood so I asked them thrice to change it (as only our north Indian group was occupying the restaurant )but the staff was least bother to listen . When it comes to food, it was below average . The only thing which I liked was their pathway. Overall I won't suggest...
