We went to the restaurant with family for dinner. The food was tasty and good. Loved all the vegetarian recipes, especially the sukka idli. But it was 9pm and a few of the items were already over. The ambience was quite noisy. The customer service was very disappointing. They first sent us to the rooftop from downstairs without any information about the difference in the menu. When asked the rooftop waiters if orders from down will be available, they were giving excuses like- don't complain if it is not hot and it might take time and they have to keep following up. They have a lift and I don't think the food will become cold in 2 minutes if they can get on the lift and serve it to us on the rooftop. Unsatisfied with the remarks, we went back down, waited and sat down to order. When asked for chinnavengayam uthappam, the waiter immediately said, we have to peel the onions, mix the batter and only make it, with the tone that it is going to be a burden for them to serve that dish to us. So we had to change the orders which is easier for them to cook. And every time they came with a dish to serve, the servers didn't know which dish belonged to which table and if you don't remember what, you might miss your order or eat someone else's order. The worst thing was that they don't provide glasses at the table and serve you with small packed water bottles which will be charged if you drink from it. I don't understand why the restaurants are stealing money doing business like this from those who come to eat. Will people not need water when they eat your food? Should you make that a business too! And so many water bottles are not very environmentally friendly. The food they serve is helping them cover up, else, with this kind of service and attitude, not many would...
Read moreMore than the taste and quality, the first and foremost thing of concern is their service. When enquired about the menu card, the reply from the waiter was no such thing available. No transparency in pricing, had to wait till the bill arrives. Long waiting time on table after ordering, poor service, items are shuffled and not in order like gravy supplied and not roti or vice versa. Water bottle provided without customer prior intimation, should be informed in advance to the customer that it will be included in bill and not a compliment. Overall you can try their tiffin items but not recommended for lunch. Bit on the costlier side considering the quality and quantity provided. Few of the items arrived to the table only when we're about to finish our lunch. We couldn't even cancel and had to parcel it to home.
Not a completely bad experience but definitely there's a room for lot of improvement. Please consider this as a...
Read moreIt was a very bad experience. There was no proper place to sit and eat, so when I asked them to open the AC dining, they said it’s only open during lunch. They spoke as if they were doing us a favor – either wait if you want or just leave. When customers pay money to eat, you should provide the basic facilities and services they expect, instead of running the place in such an irresponsible manner. Learn to serve in a way that is suitable and respectful to the public who come there.
Replay for your response: My review was based on my personal experience during the visit. I didn’t intend to post anything fake, I only shared what actually happened. You mentioned that the restaurant was opened 10 minutes, but we actually arrived around 9 a.m, which caused the inconvenience. I hope you take this feedback positively and ensure better service for all customers...
