Sri Darshini Tiffin And Meals — Restaurant in Telangana

Darshini Tiffin and Meals is on Shamirpet Highway road on the way to Bits Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

I had accidentally visited this restaurant recently and had Dosa ,Parotha ,Puri with my husband.

Since the quality and quantity were ok , We visited this restaurant for the second time.This time we had Upma and it was just Rs 25/- and the quantity was more than enough for this cost.We took 2 plates for Upma for just Rs50/Uploading the bill for the viewers reference.

However l would be uploading the picture of this dish too next time when l visit this restaurant. l was very hungry last time and gobbled down the whole upma without thinking about clicking a picture of this filling upma.

Uploading the picture will give you an idea about the quantity,but for this you have to wait for another week till we decide to have upma again in this restaurant.

30 August 2017: Visited this eating joint tonight again for a small bite.Uploading an image of the menu card along with the paper dosa we ordered today.Huge paper dosa at a cost of Rs 60/- along with vegetable curry,coconut chutney,sambar and dry potato masala.One dosa is very filling for one person but for people like us ,this dosa is sufficient for me and my husband.

CHANGED MY VIEW AFTER RECENT 2 VISITS: Darshini was opened 2 yrs back and as expected darshini has also deteriorated quality and quantity wise after establishing its name.Sad but true! REASONS: (1) The quality and the quantity has gone down.I had all praises for both the quality and quantity of UPMA but of late quantity has been reduced.

(2) Darshini thali costs Rs 70/- as any other Veg restaurants like Raghavendra. BUT DARSHINI'S THALI DOES NOT INCLUDE SWEET AND THE CHAPATI SERVED WITH IT IS VERY TINY IN SIZE AND HARD.YOU FEEL LIKE HAVING A PAPAD.

SO I WOULDN'T PREFER GOING TO DARSHINI ANYMORE.

WISH IT IMPROVED INSTEAD OF DETERIORATING ITS STANDARD'S

I WOULD BE DECREASING ITS RATING FROM 3 TO 2...

The people came in huge and they didn't have the quantity to make the items so they added water in the chutney and sambhar 😡😡😡 the worst taste and there was no butter in the butter Masala dosa.. Manager changed all the tastes went off. I am regular tiffen customer for them . But , truly now the colour of idly is light brown . When they are charging 25 rs they have to give nice and cleaned plates but they are not so, for spoon also we have to beg them. They are only interested in new customers.
