Udupi SriKrishna Grand — Restaurant in Telangana

If you are planning to visit this eatery on a Sunday morning with family, don't go!! Even if you happen to be drop in, don't go to the service area. You better go for self service, pay at the counter, get a token and take your food from the kitchen counter and sit outside on any table. I was advised by the counter person to sit in the serviced area, the restaurant. The persons present there are always in a hurry, don't seemingly have a reason. They would chitchat among themselves, rather to take your order or service you. After a wait of about 10 mins, you will get your food, that's it!!! If they don't bring chutney and other condiments, don't wait for that!!! Neither the waiter nor the condiments would reach you before you finish you food. After a lot of persuasion, I managed to get the bill. My bill was for ₹235, for which I gave ₹500. I got a balance of ₹65 only. And there was none to complaint also. Once I get her, I told her that I have to get more balance amount. To this, the boy opened the folder and immediately closed it and said the money is already on the folder. I didn't wish to top them ₹200, so pointed out them the same thing. Again a wait for 10 mins and got the balance ₹200. They were not even apologetic about not returning my ₹200 in the first place. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Udupi SriKrishna Grand. I stopped here for tiffin, and their parking attendant directed me to park my vehicle in front of the hotel. However, to my shock, the police issued me a challan for improper parking.

This reflects poorly on the hotel's management, as they should ensure their parking arrangements are lawful and customer-friendly. Misguiding customers into illegal parking is not acceptable. Such negligence not only inconveniences patrons but also creates unnecessary expenses and stress.

I strongly urge the management to take responsibility, train their staff properly, and provide clear and legal parking guidance. Customers should not bear the brunt of the hotel's poor...

The food here tastes above average to good. But the main concern is the price. It is hella overpriced so we need to be cautious. The billing is pretty simple and straightforward, but as it is self-service, if we order in bulk/or with a big family, then it becomes an issue. The atmosphere is nice, family-friendly. Coffee and Tea are available too. Drinking water is chill and good. But again the food taste is decent and less chutney and sambar which tastes bland which questions the point of an Udipi hotel.
