The name Bombay Duck doesn’t make justice to this restaurant. All the fish dishes we had ordered were not upto the mark. The service is too slow I think the restaurant owner should think of hiring few more staffs, there was only 1 guy who was running to all the tables to take order and also serve the dishes to them “Poor Guy” though, we had ordered for Prawns Tawa Fry, Surmai Rawa Fry, Tandoori Pomfret, Sweet corn chicken soup, Nalli Dum Biryani and Chicken Satey. I would like to write review for each single dish. Sweet corn chicken soup 4/5. The taste was really authentic and loved it, only thing was the ordered was delivered too late. Prawns tawa fry 3/5. I am fish food lovers and have tasted prawns tawa fry at many places and this restaurant being a sea food restaurant couldn’t give us the real taste also the prawns were half cooked. Tandoori pomfret 1/5. The masala on the fish was not cooked properly, when I tasted the first bite the fish was stale. I really don’t expect this from a seafood restaurant and they should think before they serve such kind of seafood. The fish was so small in size the taste was not nice not upto the mark not fresh not cooked properly and it was charged 800/- Surmai Rawa fry 2/5. Same issue with surmai as well the fish was half cooked. Chicken Satey 4/5. Tasty and recommended. Nalli dum biryani 3/5. Taste wise it was good, good amount of 3 piece of mutton nalli but the rice portion was too less, they suggested 3 people can eat but looking at the quantity of rice hardly 2 people can eat that biryani. I would strongly suggest the restaurant owner to change the name of the restaurant if they cannot serve fresh and tasty seafood. Please keep ample amount of staff so that the service is little bit more faster and people don’t have to keep calling single waiter again and again. The restaurant was completely packed and the AC near our table both the ACs were kept OFF, later we had to tell the staff please ON the AC it’s too hot. Such kind of service and food is totally unacceptable from a restaurant which has been given so much of hype on Instagram. I would personally not recommend this restaurant who are seafood lovers and have a good knowledge of seafood. As per my suggestion this restaurant serves better non seafood dishes...
