Had a horrible experience with billing done on 13-july night, the waiter was untrained and mad it seems, while playing with my credit card he tapped it once and then again he swiped it with chip saying payment is not done. So I paid 2060rs twice, hence i lodged a dispute case with hdfc bank. Now when the bank called ratna cottage hotel, the owner (Aishwarya Kale) has provided false information to them sharing someone else's bill of that night. If am demanding for credit card machine statement from the hotel for bank's investigation purpose they are just playing around for last 2-days and not providing the same. This is clearly cheating the regular and old customer who is associated with this hotel for 15+ years!! I hope hotel owner will interfere here and pay me the refund of 2060rs which is paid extra due to the waiter's mistake!!!!
Update(24-Aug) - I called hotel owner "Aishwarya Kale" yesterday at 9pm, the lady was utterly nonsense, rude and abusive on WhatsApp chat. She was like "be in your limits and show your Dominance at your home" and so on and so forth!! It's she only who shared a wrong bill to the dispute team of HDFC Bank (as told by hotel manager) and now she is not sharing the hotel statment of 13-july since last 1-week, shameless thief who is trying to steal my 2060rs!
She also said that she is female and hence customers can't call her post 6pm😀😁, on the other hand we learnt women needs gender equality and women empowerment but when it comes to work then they show their feminism like this!! 😀😃
Despite of pathetic management and service I was going to this hotel since last 15+yrs but now after experiencing such an impolite and inhuman lady owner, I am boycotting this hotel forever, same i told to my relatives and friends and even posted this experience in our society WhatsApp group!! It's a gross misbehaviour from a hotel owner with a customer, being in a hospitality industry !!!
Update(25-Aug) - Neither manager nor owner have shared the statement yet, seems they have got the payment of 2060rs twice which they want to hijack and hence they are not sharing the statement! Owner(Aishwarya Kale) in not responding to the phone calls or whatsapp messages of hdfc bank's investigation manager.
Update(31-Aug) - Hotel Manager (Aryan Jaiswal) has shared the statement in an excel sheet which is obviously not accepted by the bank as it can be tampered. Now despite of following up with him multiple times on calls/emails, we are yet to receive an official statement with bank authorised signatory or a declaration email from the restaurant's official email id mentioning there was only 1 transaction occurred. Unfortunately, my recent experience has changed that perception. On my last visit, I was seated in the AC section..second table from the left after entering. I usually don’t complain, but this time the service felt completely off. The staff seemed uninterested, and it appeared they were rushing to close early (because it was a weekday).
Before going to the restroom, I took the attached photo because I could see them trying to wrap things up quickly. But what disappointed me the most was how they mishandled my drink order. Not only was it skipped initially, but when it was finally served, the peg was incorrect due to a wrong calculation… something even the manager couldn’t explain properly.
