The Courtyard — Restaurant in Thane

AVOID THIS VENUE AT ALL COSTS!! The venue looks good but the staff is extremely arrogant. We initially booked for 400 people but had to reduce the number because of a major family incident so we contacted a week in advance but the owner was so adamant that changes won't be made. Later when only half the people showed up the owner didn't even keep the courtesy to reduce the quote by at least 50 people or something and demanded money in full. I don't understand how can someone digest free money from other people but I think that's how the staff fill their pockets here. We politely requested a tiny refund because earlier the staff had said we keep adding food only looking at the number of people arriving at the venue so it was obvious they didn't have a lot of food to waste. They didn't agree and we made the payment without arguments to keep our event peaceful. We didn't have the choice but this review is a warning to those who want to book with Courtyard for their wedding. These are very insensitive people and do not understand family emergencies. They will charge you huge lumps of money based on your initial booking no matter what happens closer to the event. The bride and groom rooms had pathetic washrooms, worse than train coaches. The pool on the sides had a lot of brown water and looked like gutter, the staff didn't even care to clean them before a huge event like a wedding. The songs we sent weren't even played during the wedding. Such a poor event management. On top of all this, the food staff in the end demanded a tip of 11000 and security staff demanded 5000, this amount was presented on a haldi decorated plate (in picture). We were left in shock at this point. Never seen 'shagun' being demanded before this. Avoid this venue...

The Ambience is very good for music lovers. You can enjoy live music here. Service is really nice the staffs are really nice.

However the food quality seems to be ok but not that great. On starter we ordered manchow soup which was delicious as always. Chicken tandoori was average.

Main course with triple fried rice was also not that great.

This place holds a special place in my heart as this is my wedding venue. The Courtyard a beautiful open air restaurant and also a banquet hall. It's an ideal place for cozy family functions with limited number of guests (about 125-150).

They also have another place with higher capacity but this one is more beautiful. They make very bright decorations during the day with flowers and equally beautiful decor in the night with lights.

The food here is awesome and ambience very beautiful. If not an event you can always visit for a dinner or lunch. It's on the outskirts Thane. They also offer drinks at reasonable prices.

This is open air restaurant with soft glow lights, that create a romantic effect and make your evenings special and memorable. They offer valet parking.

The food portions are on higher size, which is good. Taste is good as well. Their french fries were much better than Mac. Munchow soup tasted authentic. It offers veg and non veg options with alcoholic drinks available. The price is on higher side though.

Best time to visit is winters at evenings. They also arrange live orchestra and a singer. You can request your songs and they sing it for your loved ones Inside the place you will also get plenty of unique selfie points to shoot photos. Enjoy...
