A Perfect Celebration at Velvet Garden Banquet Hall! We recently celebrated my daughter's birthday at Velvet Garden Banquet Hall, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. I can't recommend this venue enough! The staff truly went above and beyond. They were incredibly helpful and attentive, quickly addressing every small concern we had throughout the event. Their proactive and friendly approach made us feel completely at ease. We also really appreciated their flexibility when it came to bringing in our own decorator and DJ – it made planning so much smoother. And let's talk about the food! The restaurant is located at a prime place. When you step in, simple yet unique colourful arrangements prompts you that you are in for good time. Alas, all the goodness about this place pretty much ends here.

I ordered two starters. 'One wasn't available' was told to me at the time of serving the other; that tells you the service standard is pretty average. At a nearby place loud music was being played, to overcome it, our hosts played even louder music. So much so, that we could not talk with each other without shouting.

Coming to most important part.. Food. It is criminal to make salty Alu Parantha, which is a basic dish. Veg kebabs were just about average. Biryani looked like chicken n gravy mashed together, and tasted like curd rice. When the food was so bad, it is pointless even to discuss the cost factor.
