I recently ordered the "Pepper Chicken Gravy" from Humnight in Srivilliputhur and was left extremely disappointed. The dish was advertised as pepper chicken, but it contained virtually no black pepper whatsoever. Instead of the spicy, savory kick one expects from a pepper-based dish, the gravy was surprisingly and unpleasantly sweet. This was a major letdown, as the sweetness completely overwhelmed any other potential flavors and made the dish unappetizing for someone expecting a traditional pepper chicken. Srivilliputhur is very popular for Parotta Salna. I got some bun Parotta for family on the day after Deepavali. It was great then. I tried it one more time a month later. It was OK and not great. This time around end of 2022, I took my wife. As this is one of the few places that offers family dining room, I decided to go there. We ordered usual Parotta, bun Parotta, mutton Sukka and Omelette. I bought grilled chicken last week. For name sake they kept in grill machine but chicken was at least one day old. Outside was burnt. When I asked the guy who was parcelling he said all are fresh and it will be like that only. When I opened at home center part of chicken was cold which means it is old. I am planning to call food quality department for sure to raise complaint against them. And also I ordered boneless fish roast and it was smelling like raw fish. Inside it was in pink color.
