Positive points : nice environment, excellent music and perfect atmosphere.
One of the most beautifully designed and maintained restaurant I have ever visited . Nice view , though in the mid of the city to offer nothing chilling but the way they designed it, you won't need anything else .
Quality food, some time you may find here and there but overall food quality and service is 4 out of 5. Why 4 when they are serving good hygienic food?
To answer this, I will start the negative points . Reachability , this is one small negative point , many local drivers don't know about it. In the time of July (guru poor an Mela), no outside vehicle is allowed and even the heavy inside vehicle are thrown outside of the perimeter which consist almost entire vrindavan. Minus 1 for that. Now food quality , if you are premium restaurant like this one, you have to have trained people . You are about to deal with brutal reviewers unlike me and if your staff is not sure which food is rotten, smelly or bad before serving it to food table whoop you are gone . Food comes prior to desert and tea follow either the food or replace the desert in India. Maybe vrindavan is not a part of this country or world or maybe planet where you can shamelessly ask to serve tea in the mid of the desert and half food. Did you really do that? TRAIN YOUR STAFF OR WRATH OF TRAVELLERS ARE GONNA BE HIGH.
Now taking some time I would like to inform, there is word apology, in others dictionary, yes but in your staff's, they were more like IRCTC people, YOU WANT TO EAT OR NOT, not the literal words but feeling I am talking about.
Over all rating will be 3 and a half but the taste of the food melted the heart at the end. I am gonna try your Chhole Bhature one more time to see if this is a consistent quality or maybe a luck.
Till the time, I will rate 5 star for food, three star for service which is not bad considering your service. Over all 4 star which also have a complimentary 5th star for the way you maintained...
Read moreOwner of the amma ji restaurant is very very cheep and heavy drinker. He absued his staff at night daily. He had no manners how can attend guests. We stayed at for 3 days ammaji ashram just behind the restuarant. But we felt very insecure at last day because the owner was felt us in starting very supportive staff and he also but at last day his behave and talking tone is totally changed. Food items rates are so high. Food quality is very poor service is very poor. No facilities in morning about tea etc. Our experience is very bad about this restaurant and...
Read moreI came to Ammaji's after searching online. Ita not an easy place to find as it's tucked away neatly within the city lanes and best is to take an e-rickshaw to reach here. Boy, was I happy to have finally come here and not give up half way.
The organic food preparation only enhanced the flavours. I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch with my wife. This place is run by a family who are very hospitable and lovely to talk to. I would not say that this is light on the pocket but it sure is value for money. So in a nut shell - thumbs up and would definitely...
