There has been this emerging name in the competition of biryanis and you must be familiar with this one, you must have heard of it even if you haven't tried yet. So here's my review of Biryani By Kilo and should you try this place ? Well, let me tell you here itself that you should.

Hyderabadi chicken biryani

Rice in biryani is as important as potatoes in bhaji. If you've got the rice perfect, you're half way there. And Biryani By Kilo has done an amazing job with their choice of rice. The biryani rice is long, thick, and has a great texture. It gives an amazing compliment to the spices and chicken. The spices, the taste was as good as it can be in biryanis.

Mutton galouti kebabs

The mutton kebabs were delicate as they should be. They had an amazing smoky flavor and were perfect in texture.

Ulte tawe ka parantha

I would actually recommend this as this was a very unconventional item on the menu and this is totally worth it. The parantha has a very different texture, it is basically i guess made from maida, but the texture is amazing. It is like a thin laccha parantha and i loved it.

Phirni

You will love this. This has a taste of rabri to it and it makes this a level above. Definitely not the best of phirnis, but yes the taste is damn good. It has some grainy texture which is because it is cooked for a lot of time. The preparation is evident in the taste. Have it chilled as it tastes best when it's actually cold enough.

My Verdict

Biryani By Kilo is an amazing place to eat at and has a good enough impressive menu.

Although, when I come to review it, I got to compare this with it's competition, which is definitely Biryani Blues and Bikkgane Biryani (previous Biryani Paradise). It does fall short in some or the other part when compared to these two other restaurants evidently doing the same as Biryani By Kilo. They are definitely making some great food, However, I feel they should make few budget oriented meals or offers that attracts more people.

I am definitely going to visit this place again and I'm sure you will too !

Ordered my today's lunch from newly opened outlet of "Biryani by kilo" from sec -135, noida. They are already running well across delhi ncr and i was here in noida for some work and it was lunch time. So thought of eating my favourite biryani from my favourite outlet. This place has all my love for the food they are serving since ages. I just loved there authentic flavours they put into there dishes. They are specialized in one pot meal and the whole servings are in mud pot. Which is very authentic and i would say rooted.

What i ordered today - • Hyderabadi chicken biryani • Paneer nawabi • Ulte tawa ka parantha • Phirni M a fan of there hyderabadi biryani and i end up odering this again and again. Biryani was nice and flavourful, comes along with mirchi ka salan, and mint chutney. Paneer nawabi was nice too, had this with utle tawa ka parantha. N my all time phirni was just perfect.

Biryani by kilo is a chain of restaurant specializing in not just offering the best biryani, but an array of traditional Nizami dishes. Every dish they serve is heavily influenced by Mughlai and Arabic style of cooking. The various ingredients used and the authentic spices and taste of Hyderabadi and Lucknow and kolkata which provide a gratifying taste to the customers. The place offers an economical menu along with nice and cordial service. Biryani by kilo has its outlets spread in the country. This outlet is located in sec 135, Noida. I ordered 1kg Hyderabadi which was delivered and packed in a big handi along with a matki and candles to heat it before opening. It is definitely a great concept and loved this thing. Chicken Korma with ulta tawa ka paratha. Korma was so delicious with thick gravy and chicken pieces which were almost boneless and the parathas were so huge, just as big as tawa. Matka phirni was so delicious and was delivered cold and tasted amazing when its cold in temp. It was succulent and I would love to recommend this place to all. Packaging and service was so amazing.
