Citrus Cafe — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Unexpectedly our experience at so called 4 star hotel got ruined. Me with my wife decided to visit Citrus Cafe in Sandal Suites by Lemon Tree, which resulted into worst decision. We made booking through Zomato dine out which had an offer of 50% Flat offer. When we entered in restaurant, host and servers were pretty confused about the offer they have put on Zomato. It was totally lack of communication within their team. Then we were offered table. After that until 15 minutes no one visited us for taking order and serving water, which cannot be expected from a restaurant of stars hotel. My wife stepped to one of server and asked him to take order. Then we ordered snacks and drinks which was good. But the main course (Chicken Tikka masala and So called Murg Tikka Lababdar) was totally horrible, it wasn't a worth of roadside shop. It was my first and last visit to Citrus. Please think twice...

Very nice ambience.

A large variety of Vegetarian food options are available. We liked their Kadhai Paneer, Mashroom Masala, Veg Manchow Soup and Butter Naan.

The staff are courteous.

Went for a team lunch and was quite disappointed with the experience. The buffet had very limited vegetarian starter options, and unfortunately, the taste was quite poor. The main course followed the same pattern — minimal variety and underwhelming flavors. Refills were slow and inconsistent, and bread was served very late. Everything served on the menu was cold.

Most of the desserts lacked taste, and the ice cream station wasn’t visible or accessible — you had to actively ask the staff to serve it. Overall, it was a subpar dining experience, and I would not consider visiting again.
