Extremely Disappointing Experience at BMC Vikas Nagar (Bun Makkhan Chai)

I visited BMC in Vikas Nagar expecting a decent cup of chai and a light snack, but the experience was nothing short of a disaster. The staff was shockingly rude, indifferent, and absolutely lacking in basic customer service etiquette. They behave like they’re doing you a favor by serving you.

As for the food – the taste was bland, stale, and completely forgettable. The so-called “special” bun makkhan was just a dry piece of bread with a dollop of butter slapped on carelessly. The chai was watery, overpriced, and lacked any real flavor—definitely not worth the hype or the price tag.

Speaking of price, BMC is outrageously overpriced for what they offer. You’re essentially paying premium rates for street-level quality with zero ambiance or courtesy.

Save your time and money. There are far better options around. I will definitely not be going back and wouldn’t recommend...

BMC is nice tea & snack point to visit every evening with your group of 2-3 friends/family or couple. You can sit (group seats available with table) outside & inside, order (prepaid) & enjoy tea, bun makkhan, Etc. (Nice taste) while having gup-shup (chatting).

Menu has more than 30-40 listings. Lots of tea flavors like cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, etc., served in beautiful kulhad. Pricing is ok like tea 20/30 rupees, etc. Menu & stall images added.

Overall, I rate it 4/5 stars considering menu price, taste, items, stall layout. I visit here with my friends, nice...

An amazing place to have a cold coffe with a cheeze piza. Was here with my little buddy and enjoyed the outdoor Sitout arrangements with the cool breeze embracing us as relief from a sunny day, and the cosy ambience adding up the calmness of a quality time spent together.
