Cafe Athyeka, located at Roastery Street, Sector 144, Noida, offers a wholesome South Indian culinary experience, showcasing dishes from Andhra Pradesh (now Andhra + Telangana), Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. Café Athyeka is the go-to spot for savoring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian South Indian delicacies.
On our first visit, we sampled the Onion Rava Masala Dosa and the Plain Masala Dosa, accompanied by sambar, green chutney, and coconut chutney. The dosas were served hot and were among the best we've had across these states. However, the Rava Masala Dosa could benefit from some fine-tuning, as the onion combination was lacking. The filter coffee, served in a copper-blended cup and glass, was satisfying and met our expectations.
The ambiance resembles a hostel canteen, with traditional heavy wooden chairs and tables. The space was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The entrance feels more like a traditional house than a restaurant, as the signboard is placed inside. There is road curb parking available, with a security guard to assist. However, wheelchair accessibility could be improved due to the uneven flooring.
The restrooms are gender-specific, clean, and share a common wash area. For families, there are special chairs for kids, and mist fans are available in the open area at the entrance. The interior is fully air-conditioned, adding to the comfort. The staff was responsive, prompt in taking orders, and the food delivery was efficiently managed. All payment modes, including cash, credit, debit, and UPI, are accepted.
The restaurant also features a small sales display counter where they sell their own brand of coffee.
Note: Must visit for all North Indians - one place - 4 south state cuisines - Veg & Non veg options - wide variety

Read moreAthyeka, a South Indian restaurant located at a hopping distance from the offices nearby, is the perfect place to grab a delicious meal. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by excellent service. The staff is always ready to assist you with a friendly smile, making you feel welcome and cared for.
The food at Athyeka is top-notch. They serve up a variety of dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. Each dish is packed with rich taste that leaves you wanting more. The use of fresh ingredients and aromatic spices makes every meal a delight to the senses.
Athyeka's environment is a nice break from the bustling office life around it, or even good to grab a quick meal with family and friends. The restaurant has a relaxing and peaceful ambience, which allows you to enjoy your meal without any rush or noise. The interior is tastefully decorated and comfortable, providing a soothing backdrop for your dining experience.
Slightly on the higher side in terms of price as compared to its peers, but still it offers value for money. The portion sizes are generous. We tried the following: Plain dosa: Good taste and crispy Masala dosa: It did taste good and left one wanting for more Mysore Masala dosa: Tasty, juicy (stuffing was nice) and aromatic Vada: Crispy and did taste Wow (remember that very few can actually make great vadas, wherein it is soft and crispy both) Filter coffee: Did remind us of Bangalore days Sambhar and Chutney was good, with slight improvement in one of the two chutneys (it had extra hint of garlic)
In short, Athyeka is a wonderful restaurant that offers excellent service, good food, a nice environment, and value for money. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Suggestion: It will be good to introduce few more combos like: Mini Breakfast thali: this could have one vada, one idli, one mini dosa and so on in it Idli and Vada...
Read moreThe ambience of the Cafe/Restautant is very minimal, however the open sitting arrangement (Verandah like) transports you to South of India. This is probably one of the few authentic South Indian Restaurants in NCR. Recently, I reviewed so called authentic South Indian Restaurant called "Naivedyam, Sec-63, Noida" which lacked flavours of South India but to my surprise this South Indian restaurant/cafe was as authentic as it can get. Everything tasted fantastic. I got to know it's from the founders/promoters of Colocal which is already creating a lot of noise in NCR hospitality market. I give a thumbs up to the founders of Cafe Athyeka and Colocal for being very well researched in whatever they are doing.
We ordered:
Crispy Potato Chicken: One of the most unique and innovative dish we tried in recent times. It was chicken covered in thin potato wafer, covered with batter and deep fried. It was super Crispy and tasted awesome.
Mirch Bhaji: the portions were small with 3 Mirch Pakodas and it tasted okay.
Masala Dosa: The portions size of the Dosa was small, justifying the prices but it tasted brilliant.
Onion & Tomato Uttapam: Uttapam was really good with loads of onions.
Tomato Rice: the preparation was simple yet tasty.
Podi Dosa: This is just awesome, plain Dosa with Gun Powder, however the gun powder was perfectly balanced, not spicy at all.
Chettinadu Mushroom Curry with Parota: The combination is very good and a proper meal in which you get 2 Parotas, Mushroom Curry with South Indian Flavours and some salad. I feel Mushroom Curry should be more power packed.
Filter Coffee / 100% Coffee: The taste of the coffee was very good. 100% authentic Coffee.
Also, all the meals are served in brass utensils which is an experience in it's own way.
One can visit this place if you are craving for South...
